As usual, I was up before everyone else, before the sun came up. I went out the the wide green field, glistening with the morning dew. I breathed in the smells and filled my lungs with clean, fresh air.

I pulled out my throwing knives. Running and jumping over a shaak, I threw a knife directly into the round stack of hay In front of me.

The knife hit It's mark before my feet hit the soft ground. I decided to stand on the hay stack to meditate, where I knew the shaak wouldn't interrupt me.

I took a few deep breaths and shut my eyes. The force was like a stream in front of me. It looked calm and inviting. I decided to ease into it. It was cool and comforting. It filled my mind with photos and memories of my family.

Tears poured down my cheeks. This was my last memory of them, but it was clearer than any other memory, like they were really there.

My mother smiled at me as she placed a chain of flowers like a crown on my head. My father came running from the hut,
"Kiolav, Likiti, I'm home! Oh I've missed you so very much." He reached in his pocket,

"I've gotten you both a gift. For you my darling, a shell necklace from the shores of Dadon. And for you little one, a bag of keok teeth from the mountains on Tiphon." We can and hugged him tightly. Then my mother said,

"Thank you so much. But the greatest gift is having you as a husband and father."

Suddenly I snapped back to the present. I had only had vague memories of them before today... The force had helped me see who my parents were. It must be for a reason; or was it deep inside my mind already.

I looked at the sun rising. They would be expecting me soon for breakfast. The search, and hunt, begins tomorrow.

I wiped the residing tears on my face as I walked back toward the house. I had to keep it together.
