Chapter 1

I wish I could hear the words "I love you" from a guy that actually means it. Not like my ex boyfriend Nick he would always say I love you and he never meant it. Hi I'm Ashley Woods and this is my story.

I was sitting in my apartment in Los Angeles California when I got a call from an unknown number. "Hello" I said. "Is this Ashley Woods" a man's voice asked. "Yes, that's me can I help you" I said in a sweet voice. "Yes, you got the part of Samantha Outlaw. JJ maybank's love interest for Outer Banks. I'm Jonas Pate the director of Outer Banks" the man said. "Really. Oh my god this is amazing. When do I need to leave for South Carolina" I asked excitedly. "In two days please, if you can" Jonas said. "I can do that. See you in two days Jonas thank you so much" I said. "Your welcome see you soon, bye" Jonas said and ended the call.

I went to bed happy. The next morning I pack everything I needed for South Carolina. The last day at home before I leave for South Carolina I want to see my best friend Daisy Smith.

"Daisy, hey" I said as I walked to her table at our favorite cafe. "Hey Ash. So you leaving me for your show Outer Banks" Daisy joked. "Yes, but I will miss you" I said smiling at her across are table. "Yeah I will miss you to shawty" Daisy said smiling at me. After a few minutes into are conversation Daisy got a call. "I'm sorry Ash I have to go the hospital needs me. I love you bestie" Daisy said she huged me "I love you too call me some time while I'm in South Carolina" I said hugging her back. We pulled out of are hug and she lefted. She is a nurse.Right after she lefted I went back to my apartment to make sure I had everything.

The next morning I got everything I needed in my suitcase and lefted for the airport. "Flight 528 to South Carolina is leaving in 20 minutes" a lady over a innercom said. I made my way to the plane and got to my seat. For four hours I slept until the plane landed. I walked out of the airport and got a taxi to the address that Jonas sent me. When I got there Jonas was waiting for me. "Hi Ashley, how was you trip" Jonas asked me. "It was really good" I said. "Good to hear. The penthouse you will be staying in is right behind me, your room is on the second floor three room on the right" Jonas said. "Thanks" I said. "I will see you tomorrow and will have a table read everyone needs to get settled in before we start working" Jonas said. "Ok see you tomorrow" I said and walked into the penthouse.

I walked into the living room and I saw five people already there. They all turned around and looked at me. "Hi, who are you" I pretty blond hair girl asked. "Ashley Woods. And you" I asked. "I'm Madelyn Cline I play Sarah Cameron" she said smiling at me. "I play Samantha Outlaw" I said smiling back. "Nice to meet you" Madelyn said. "Hi, I'm Madison Bailey, I play Kiara" a brunette girl said. "I'm Chase Stokes, I play JohnB" a brunette boy said. "Oh, the one who gets is into a treasure hunt. While these to pretty girls are supposed to stay out of trouble" I said they all laughed. "Correct. I'm Jonathan Daviss, I play Pope" a black boy said. "The smart one who wants to stay out of trouble" I said smiling. "Yup" Jonathan said. "Hi I'm Rudy Pankow, I play JJ" a cute blond boy said. "The loose cannon, the fun one and Samantha's boyfriend" I said smiling. "Yes that's right" Rudy said smiling at me. "Well I'm going to put my stuff in my room. Jonas told me where my room is" I said grabbing my suitcase. "Ok when your done want to hang out with us and get to know us more" Madison asked. "Sure I'd love to" I said. With that I went to my room.

I put my suitcase at the end of my bed then I walked back into the living room. They were all sitting down and the only seat open was next to Rudy. I sat next to Rudy "so where you from" Rudy asked. "Before I moved to Los Angeles I live in a small town in Florida called Cottondale. What about you" I asked. "I'm from Alaska" Rudy said. "Well I could not live there I would freeze to death" I said giggling. "Yeah it's pretty cold up there" Rudy said laughing at me. "You guys want Pizza Hut" Chase asked us. "Yes" we all said. When the pizza got there we all ate and got to know each other really well.

A FEW WEEKS LATER

We all became really good friends over this passed couple weeks and we started filming the show its so much fun. We are currently on set waiting for Rudy and Chase to finish their scene so we can all go out to get ice cream, Madelyn's idea. My phone started to vibrate so I pulled it out of my pocket. "Hey Daisy, what's up" I said in a excited voice. "Hey Ash, sorry but I'm about to ruin your day" Daisy said in a nervous voice. "Daisy what's going on" I said in a worried voice. "Nick is looking for you" Daisy said. Rudy and Chase had finished their scene. Rudy was walking up to me when Daisy said that Nick was looking for me. My smilie dropped I started to panic. Rudy smile faded when he saw my panicked face. "Daisy I have to go" I said breathlessly.

I put my phone up and turn away from everyone as I try to catch my breath. "Ash what's wrong" Rudy asked his voice and face laced with worry. I didn't have time to answer before my knees gave out I hit the ground my panic attack started. Rudy dropped to his knees and wrapped his arms around me and held me to his chest. My phone started to ring again Rudy grabbed it. "Hello" Rudy said in panic. "It's Daisy is Ash ok" Daisy asked in a panicked voice. "No she's having a panic attack. What to I do" Rudy asked. "Hold her to your chest and tell her it's ok, it's not real, your safe, calm down, I promise you are safe" Daisy said. Rudy did what Daisy said. "Keep doing what your doing I have to get back to my patience, sorry" Daisy said and ended the call.

"Your safe, please Ash calm down, your scaring the hell out of me" Rudy said. Everyone was standing around me. I started to calm down, I was catching my breath. "Thank you for helping me Rudy. I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you guys" I said. "What happened Ash" Chase asked. "I promise I will tell you all later but I need some time. Because what I'm going to tell you is hard for me" I said in a low voice. "Can someone drive me to the penthouse please" I said. "I will" Rudy said.

We got in Rudy's car and we headed to the penthouse. "Are you sure your okay" Rudy said grabbed my hand. "Yeah for now" I said giving him a light smile and squeezed his hand gently. When we got to the penthouse and we walked in. "Hey, Rudy I'm going to get a shower" I said walking to my room we all have are own bathrooms. "Ok" Rudy said. I walked into my room and grabbed my clothes a black t shirt and black shorts and walked into the bathroom.

I turned on the hot water and a little cold water. I stripped off my clothes and stepped into the water. When I was done I dried off and put on my clothes on and brushed my hair. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass from the cabinet and fill it with water and chugged it. Rudy walked in and sat on the couch and everyone walked into the living room. "So are you guys ready for me to explain" I said in a nervous voice. "When ever your ready" Madelyn said.

I sat on the couch next to the girls. I let out a shaky breathe. "A year ago I fell for this boy Nick and everything was perfect. Well at least that's what I thought. He was so sweet at first then he started to get a aggressive, really aggressive. When we got home from hanging out with is friends he would beat me and it was like that for months. I couldn't leave I was to scared to until he beat me so bad I was in the hospital for a month. So when Daisy told me Nick was looking for me everything just came back and I couldn't breathe" I said I had tears running down my face.

"Im so sorry you had to go through that"Jonathan said. The girls huged me and said how sorry they were. "You are a brave girl you know that" Chase said. I looked at Rudy his jaw was clenched. "No one deserves that, especially you. If he comes for you we will keep you safe I promise" Rudy said. I got up and walked over to Rudy and gave him a hug "thank you Rudy, that means a lot" I said, he hugged me tighter. We spent the rest of the night eating and watching any show we could. We didn't have work tomorrow.It was late and Chase and Madelyn had cuddle up together. Jonathan fell asleep on the floor. Madison had fallen asleep on the couch. There were three couchs Chase and Madelyn hand one, Madison had one. Me and Rudy were still up watching Heartland for some reason. "Are you tired" Rudy whispered to me. "A little bit" I said and yawned. "Come here" Rudy said and open up his arms for me. I layed my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me. As he ran his fingers through my hair I drifted off to sleep feel safe something I haven't in a year.
