Past and Present

"Alright everyone, quiet down." The teacher came into the homeroom class with a large stack of papers. "Now that you all are in your third year, it's time for you to really think about your future." He said while grabbing some of the papers that he put on his desk. "But I know you all want to go to the hero track." he exclaimed while throwing the papers in the air while most of the students started to cheer and use their Metahuman abilities, better known as quirks.

"Yes, Yes. You all have wonderful quirks, but you know the rules. No power usage in school!" The teacher said, trying to calm his students down.

"Hey, teach! Don't lump us in with these extras. If they're lucky they will become sidekicks to some busted D-lister!" A boy with spiky ash-blonde hair and red eyes said while his feet were on his desk.

"You think you're better than us Katsuki!" "Get over yourself!" The other students were not happy with what the ash-blondy said.

"Ahhh, Bakugou. You have impressive test results. Maybe you will get into UA." The teacher said to the shock of the other students. "He's going for the national school!" "UA has an acceptance rate of 0.2%!"

"Midoriya. You wanted to go to UA too, right?" Asked the teacher. Everyone looked at the green haired girl in the back of the classroom. "Yeah. I am." She, Izumi Midoriya looked up, and there was determination in her eyes.

"Hey Izumi. Are you coming to the mall today?" One of the female students asked the greenet. "No. I have training today. maybe another time." The other girls just left after that. It was only Izumi and Bakugou left in the classroom.

Izumi is looking at the news on her phone. "Mt Lady Debut " "Tatooine station villain attack" "Hourglass vigilante stops robbery" She keeps scrolling hoping to find... something.

"Still trying?" Bakugou came up behind her. "I stopped trying long ago." He said as he turned around to leave. "He might be dead for all you know"

"Shot up Bakugou!" Izumi yelled at the boy. "He's not dead." Midoriya took her bag and hurried out of the classroom to get to training. 'It's been five years. but I won't give up until I find you brother.'

Flashback:

"Brother" We see four year old Izumi Midoriya sitting in a car. "What do you think our quirks will be?" beside her sat another child the only difference between them is the gender. "Well, Mom can lift small objects with her mind so maidy something like that." answered the boy Izuku Midoriya.

In a doctor's office the two children and their mother sat facing a doctor. "So do you want the good news of the bad news first?" The doctor asked Inko Midoriya. Izumi and Izuku's mother. "The Bad News pleace." she answered.

"If you look at the x-ray we did earlier you can see that Izuku has two joint in his pinky toe while Izumi only has one. Based on this it seems like your son will not develop a quirk, while your daughter will." The doctor explained

They were all shocked. Izuku even dropped his All Might figure. Next the doctor asked what Inko and her husband's quirks were. "W-well, I can pull small objects towards me and my husband breathes fire." She said.

"Then it seems that your daughter has a mix of them both. Izumi here has pyrokinesis. Basekly she can control fire and if trained well enough she should be able to learn to see heat signatures." Said the doctor

Later That same day Izuku just sat in his room. Izumi got worried and wanted to see him. "Izuku? Are you okay?" She opened the door and found him crying in his bed. She moved closer and sat on the bed. "I-Izumi? D-do you think I-I can still be a H-he-hero?" "Sniff" Izuku said through the crying.
