It had now been 5 months since the sludge villain incident. Izuku continued with his nightly patrols and he would train and spar with Setsuna almost every day. Today though, Izuku was going to Deguba beach to get some more materials, since some equipment broke during training. He had also planned for a while to upgrade his computer to connect with the omnitrix instead of his phone.

When he got there though he saw that there was less trash then last time he was here, so he started to look around. After looking for a while he heard some noises. Izuku climbed over one of the mountains of trash, and on the other side he saw something interesting. There was a young man on the beach, and he seemed to be cleaning it. At the moment he was lifting a fridge on his back.

The boy had blond hair that was standing upward, blue eyes and a cartoon-like face. He didn't have a shirt on and one could see he had fine tooned muscles and scars along his arms. Izuku recognised him from the UA sports festival. A second year student, Mirio Togata. If Izuku remembered correctly, his quirk was some kind of Intangibility. Didn't work on his clothes, though.

Izuku was just about to leave when the UA student saw him. "Hey!" He waved in Izuku's direction. "Sigh" 'If I leave now it'll look suspicious." Mutterd Izuku, so he made his way to the older boy. "What are you doing in a dump like this?" Said Togata, while having a big smile on his face."

"I could ask you the same question. I saw you lift that refrigerator earlier, but dont they have good training facilities at UA?" Izuku asked back. Togata looked surprised. "How did..." "How did I know you go to UA? Simple. I saw you at the sports festival a couple months ago." He said, interrupting Togata. "So why train here?" Izuku then asked.

"Well. My... trainer recommended me to do my training while doing community service at the same time. So he told me about this place." Said the older male while scratching the back of his neck. "So, why are you here? Or are you also training?" Asked Togata.

"No, I'm looking for parts. I've grabbed materials here for years." Izuku answered. "Oh. So are you building support items?" Asked Togata. "Not exactly." Said the younger boy while looking around. "Have you found any hardware? Like computers and stuff." Togata smiled at the question and pointed towards the sidewalk. "Yeah, there is a pile of that stuff by the road."

Izuku thanked the older student and walked in the given direction, but Togata followed him. "You know, you're in middle school right. If you're into building support equipment my mentor could probably get you a recommendation into UA's support course." Togata offered. Izuku had started looking through the pile of junk while the UA student was talking.

"Nah, I'm more into heroism, building stuff is more like a hobby. But I gave that up a while ago." Answered Izuku while looking at an old laptop. "You can always try." Said Togata with a shoulder shrug. Izuku just put a few old laptops and phones in his backpack. "Not when you're quirkless apparently." He replied.

That made Mirio freeze for a second. "Oh... I'm sorry." He said. Izuku looked at him. "What for? We've never met before." Answered the boy in a monotone tone. "Well, I have to go." Said Izuku. Right when he put his backpack on Mirio saw something on his wrist. It was only for a split second but he knows he saw it.

When Mirio first started his work study he was told about a certain vigilante group. The Nighteye agency was not part of the investigation but they would share any info they learned. He learned of a cymbal that only the members of the group had. A green hourglass shape with black background.

That was what Mirio saw on Izuku's wrist. 'Is... Is he a Vigilante? No, wait. All the descriptions are of mutant types.' Mirio thought. But he didn't show any reaction to his revelation. "So, do you come here often?" He asked the boy. "Sometimes. But when all the trash is gone I probably won't. Why?" Said Izuku. "I'm going to be here every afternoon so if you feel like you want to talk, you know where to find me. And I'll leave a pile for you if you want."
