As to why Kyo? It's simple.
It is located further west of Banan. Far enough to make sure the Camps don't find him.
Truth to be told, Alcon wanted to go by himself so that he can run away faster if he encounters them. But the sisters pleaded to go with him.
Trey even said that she is scared that he might not come back to them.
Both the sisters seemed to flinch as they remembered something.
He did ask them about their life before he found them.
But they don't seem to be prepared in telling their story.

He glanced back at the girls who are busy taking in the scenery of Kyo. Like excited tourists.
He smiled faintly then looked ahead.
'They can take their time, they are still kids after-!'
His thoughts were stopped when he felt an unbelievable amount of Bloodlust.
