Rain Falling

—just yujin being the annoying girlfriend she is to wonyoung while rain falls.

Wonyoung stood in front of the school gates and glanced upward, the rain beginning to pick up. The clouds were turning into shades of grey and the usually blue sky was now gloomy looking.

She removed her book sack from her back and placed it on top of her head as a cover to protect herself from the droplets. Unfortunately, it didn't do much besides spare her hair a little since her uniform and shoes were already wet.

The girl grumbled to herself, "Of all times, you decide to start pouring when I'm about to leave?" Upset was an understatement, she was truly heartbroken that she would have to walk home in such conditions.

As she continued to sigh and groan, a girl with bright blue hair was watching her from nearby, secretly admiring how pretty she looked in the rain and how adorable her face contorted when she was annoyed.

Said girl decided to run towards Wonyoung, not minding the rain whatsoever and approached from behind while the other's back was facing her.

With careful steps, her fingers brushed Wonyoung's shoulders in a light grip.

"Boo!"

Wonyoung yelped in surpirse and dropped her bag onto the ground, turning around to see the culprit at fault.

Upon seeing the person, her nerves were more at ease but it didn't help the growing irritation that was itching at the back of her head.

"Yah Ahn Yujin! Why would you do that?!" Wonyoung hit the girl lightly on her arm as the older only laughed at the reaction she received.

The younger girl furrowed her brows and pouted, crouching down to pick up her book sack that was now soaked.

"If my books are all wet, I'm going to kill you and make you pay for new ones," She mumbled, inevitably deciding to not care about the rain anymore and just hugged her bag to her chest instead.

Yujin shrugged with a slight grin, "Why does it matter? You don't even study." She grabbed her the straps of her own book sack and waited for the younger girl to retaliate.

She knew the other quite well as it didn't take long for Wonyoung to argue back, "My mom will kill me Yujin!"

Poor Wonyoung's reasoning only got her a giggle and splash of water to the shin in return.

"Do you wanna die?" Wonyoung threatened when Yujin kicked another puddle of water to her legs, wetting her shoes and skirt even more.

She began kicking water back at the older before Yujin took off running, snatching Wonyoung's book sack out of her hands at the same time.

"Yah! Give it back to me!" The younger yelled, earning ahead shake and raspberry blown at her.

Yujin laughed at the shocked look Wonyoung was giving but brushed it aside and continuing running away, the rain and her restricted vision the least of her worries.

Wonyoung groaned and chased after her, "Come back here!" She ran behind the older and didn't slow down until after seeing Yujin do the same.
