Trap City

A girl of gold

    "Drop the stolen items", the police offers shouted. I turned over to Liam. I could see that he was confused, maybe a bit scared. When it comes to the occasion Liam is as cutthroat as needed. But when he knew that things were gonna explode he backed down. Right now he was backing down. I put my hands up in the air, pretending to surrender. "Shego, what're you doing"? "Just follow my lead". Liam put his hands in the air. I pulled out a bomb and threw it at the officers.

    I knew it wasn't going to do much judging how it was a smoke bomb. The officers passed out and there was still a group of them left. They pulled out a gun and pulled the trigger. I saw the bullet going straight for Liam's head. "Aaah", I shouted in fear. I ran in front of Liam and put my arm up, trying to sheild myself. I felt my blood run cold and I couldn't move, at all. My skin felt rough and thick, I felt my blood flow stop. All I could move was my eyes. I opened them and saw that I had turned into a gold statue.

    The bullet bounced off of me and Liam was safe. There was a lot of commotion coming from the officers. "What's happening"? "Did she just turn into gold"? "What did she do"? "Run", I mumbled to Liam. "What about you-"? "Just run"! He ran as fast as he could across the bridge. I was stuck in a position with my arm shielding my face and head. It took 4 officers to pick me up, put me in the car, and take me to prison. They put me in a cell alone and all night I watched them, not being able to move a muscle. Soon I felt my blood start to flow again.

    My body got warm and I could feel my skin getting softer. I was normal again, no one else was in the station. I grabbed onto the cold metal bars of the cell. "Dammit"! I stopped and then touched them again. They turned into gold dust. I looked at it in awe, "What the hell is going on"? I picked it up and scooped it into my hand. I walked out and ran all the way back to Trap City. It was pitch black outside and dead silent. As I ran I felt the cool air on my face. Trap city being an island, I could smell the ocean around me.

    I got back home, Liam and Tayo were there. "What happened Shego", Tayo asked. "O-o-one minute we were stealing, the next me were surrounded by cops", I shouted. "Then I saw a bullet going for Liam's head- I shielded him and I turned into gold"! "Look, there's some in my hand". I opened my hand and showed them the golden dust. I sat it down on the table and plopped on the couch. "You know something's going on with Inko too", Tayo told me. "What do you mean"? "After robbing the council woman she got into with a group of police officers".

    "The same explosion she caused when we were younger came from her eyes". "How is that possible"? "I don't know, but there was also a fight with Andy- or Frankenstein now. She sprouted two tentacles from her back". "What the hell", I shouted standing up. "This isn't normal, what's going on"? "I don't know, but it seems like it's happening to all of us". "What happened to you"? "Nothing yet, but I'm sure it'll happen soon". "Things are getting weird, starting to change". "Seems to me like another day in Trap City".
