Jasmine was stunned. Not even able to move. Elijah's chest was pressed against her back. The girl's two hands were inside each pocket of her sweatpants. And only a few inches away from her private body!

Elijah's cheek was pressed against the lower part of the stranger's left shoulder. And Jasmine could feel the heat emanating from her body; smelt her scent. Something like rosewater and powdery scent... mixed with the tang of sea air.

Why the wench had an enchanting scent! And her breathing was soft and warm in her ear... like a soft evening breeze. And heavens! Her body was starting to react!

She cleared her throat and looked at Elijah behind her. What did you wish for? She asked huskily. She was unbelievably engaged in the nonsense of the stranger. But that is the only way to get rid of the body's reaction to what the girl is doing.

I must not tell. She was almost whispering and remained closed-eyed. But still not removing the hands from Jasmine's two pockets and not moving her hands away. Or my wish wouldn't come true. She added.

She swore she wouldn't smile, even though her face was already stiff. And the god of the seas! She felt hotness in her body.

All right, so you've made your wish, she said in a formalized tone. Your falling star has fallen completely. Maybe it's already in the water. Her voice was laced with mild sarcasm. You can take your hands off my pockets now and don't take advantage of me.

Don't be stupid, she murmured, slightly widening her eyes. I'm just feeling the heat from behind you. I'm so cold. And you, I think you're made of stone. You don't even feel the cold when you are wearing a crop top showing your stomach.

Jasmine sighed. She had a point. And perhaps she was cold because the cold sea breeze had been caressing her before.

Or maybe she was lying. She could either be a tease or just simply innocent and really cold which is not surprising. Either way, she was still very young. And it doesn't hurt the woman who still has milk on her lips.

And damn! Her body should no longer be reacting to her. And she had to do something or she would be in trouble and embarrass them both.

Fine, you're cold. There's your dog. She turned to Kiwi who was silently watching them. She's warmer. Take those hands out of my pockets. That's close to the danger zone..., too close, lady.

Elijah sighed slightly at what the woman wanted to convey. And with scary eyes, she lifted her face to her shoulder. She was right!

She quickly pulled her hands from the pockets of her sweatpants as if it was on fire and walked back to Kiwi. Glad that it was dark, otherwise the woman would have seen her blush.

Which of the three happened? Did she send in the habit of inserting a hand in the pocket and making a wish? Could be. But why on earth in a stranger's pockets?

Or she was too cold and her body was just so tempting? Maybe, but how could she be so bold as to have run to this stranger and rubbed heat on her body even though she said that Kiwi was there?

Or had she been fantasizing about the stranger's body and subconsciously, she had just given the first reason followed by the second?

What audacity did she do? She'd never done it in her whole life... not even with Vincent, in six months as a couple.

Do you really believe that your wish for the star will come true? Jasmine asked eagerly wanting to remove the discomfort seen on the maiden's face from the dim light in the emergency lamp.

Maybe she really was cold. And she didn't want to embarrass the girl. But she is likely to be embarrassed the moment she feels what is happening to her body. At other times, and perhaps in other women, it doesn't overlook such an event. Immediately, she would consider such an act as an invitation.

But she was sure that was not the motive of this stranger.

Jasmine looked up at the sky, amazed at the beauty of the dark sky adorned with shining stars. A moonlit night bathes the earth with a beauty all its own. She always loved gazing up at the starry nights. Marveled at its beauty. On a starry night, like today, the beautiful stars hang like shining jewels against the darkness of space. And she wondered just what is out there in space.

Elijah remained silent. She knew the stranger was not waiting for her answer. They both knew it was just a children's story. And she was glad that the embarrassment she felt in her casual tone was gradually wiped away. She was about to say something friendly when they heard the noise of the approaching motor and lights spinning in the darkness of the sea.
