It was twilight. Elijah was looking at the horizon from the upper deck of the ship. Jasmine and Elijah got married on the island, on the beach this afternoon. The reception was held on the ship. There were no other guests except Jasmine's close relatives and family friends. On her part are her Auntie Mihara, her father, Marley, and her boyfriend. Her best friend was her bridesmaid.
Her grandfather promised her that he would one day take her to this exotic island. Jasmine fulfilled her grandfather's promise. In her heart, how Elijah wished her grandfather was still alive. Just as she wished her mother was there too.
Elijah sighed. She doesn't want to be sad at the moment. It was the happiest day of her life. She is now married to Jasmine.
Before the wedding, Jasmine showed her the island. Her grandfather was right, the island was a paradise. And they would live there, Jasmine and her. They would raise their children on the island.
They would set sail today to the end of the earth for their honeymoon. Elijah gazed at the starry heaven. And from the sky, she saw a light drawn down until it disappeared into space.
I'm surprised you didn't make a wish, my love. Jasmine said softly behind her back. Then her arms went around her and planted a soft kiss on her nape.
I am so happy that I couldn't think of anything to wish for, Jasmine. She hugged the arms that wrapped around her body.
That night... when we first met... Jasmine said. Jasmine's lips move to her shoulder. When we were in the middle of the sea, what did you wish for?
Elijah turned and looked up at her wife. She smiled and her hand went up to Jasmine's neck. She stood up and raised her mouth slowly to kiss Jasmine.
My love... Elijah said as their lips touched. It just came true.
