Jasmine was facing the dark ocean and propped up her arms on railings. Except for the rush of water caused by the yacht's progress, the whole area was very quiet.

Elijah glanced at the table on the side of the deck where food was prepared for the two. And in the middle, is a tall crystal vase with a stem of a yellow rose. It was a romantic setting that somehow, her heart missed a bit for a moment.

Jasmine felt her presence. She turned and faced her.

Hi. Elijah almost whispered.

Hi yourself. She smiled faintly. Her elbows rest on the railing of the yacht.

Elijah carefully observes Jasmine. She's wearing an above-knee light blue dress, outlining her curves, shoulders, and thighs. And her eyes were dark and deep they were like a sea without a shore. Her hair flowed freely in the caress of the sea breeze.

She was strikingly elegant and beautiful. I am being gay right now. Wait- what? Am I gay? She shook her head and cursed herself. And now I am cursing. She mumbled.

What?

How did you know we couldn't have dinner with Aunt Mihara? She asked ignoring Jasmine while glancing at the table at the two plates prepared there.

I don't know. When I came out of the deck the table was ready.

George? She asked.

Jasmine nodded and she couldn't help but feel disappointed. Deep inside her, she hopes Jasmine has something to do with the romantic arrangement of the table.

Where did that single rose come from? From the table, she looked at the ocean. Surely, no flower grows in the middle of the sea?

Jasmine laughed softly. Get closer, it isn't real.

Oh. Another disappointment ran through her.

Jasmine stepped closer, and smoothly, her arm went around her and pulled her against her, and planted a soft kiss on her mouth. Elijah was shocked by that kiss and was stunned for a moment.

Don't be so disappointed, she said huskily, her breath was as caressing as sunlight on naked skin. When we get to shore, I'll buy you dozens of real flowers. Roses, lily of the valleys, tulips-

Am-I... hmm... that transparent? She stammered, she could still feel the heat of her lips. And her arm was still wrapped around her body.

As clear as the water in this part of the ocean, Hope, she said. Her eyes turned a shade darker as she gazed at her lips.

Elijah quickly removed herself from Jasmine. She steps over to the table and pretends to examine the fake flower. It is made of expensive and thin satin fabric, in baby yellow. It was almost real... almost. Just like tonight. Tonight was a fantasy... just like a meteor that suddenly appears in the sky and suddenly disappears.

What would happen after a week of sailing the ocean with the most mysterious woman she had ever seen in her entire life? Not to say the most beautiful, too.

She would think about it after their sail... Let the devil take tomorrow.

Aunt Mihara's dizziness got worsened. She couldn't meet Jasmine's eyes, she knew that her gaze followed her every move.

I could guess, Jasmine replied, a worried frown on her forehead. She approached the table and took the wine then removed the cork from the bottle and pour the two glasses. Can't you give her the pills I gave you earlier?

The change of topic eased Elijah's tension. She smiled. Auntie wouldn't take that, even if her life depended on that pills. She was so worried that-

That I would ravish you. She said amused. She handed her the glass of wine and turned to her side and pulled up the chair.
