I take a gulp of fresh air as I step out of my trashy, downgraded apartment in New York City; my small suitcase trailing quickly behind.
As I hail for a taxi I look at my watch. Shit why do I always have to be so late? I had 45 minutes to get to the airport; or the plane would leave without me.
I sigh in relief as a taxi sees my frantic waving and skids to a stop in front of me. The young-aged man hops out of the car and helps me with my belongings; checking me out briefly before getting back into the drivers seat.
Rolling my eyes, I decide to opt out of having to sit close to him and intead sit in the back of the taxi.
"Where to gorgeous?" He says whilst smirking and looking at me through the rearview mirror. I roll my eyes again.
"Just the airport please. And make it quick. I'm running late." The driver nods his head once and starts to make his way.
"So where are you going today beautiful?" The taxi driver asks two minutes into the drive.
"Just to LA." I try and keep my answer as short as possible. Not wanting to really talk after my stressful and rushed morning.
"Going to see the boyfriend? Pretty girl like you must have boys wagging their tongues at you all the time." He chuckles to himself as if he thought his 'joke' was funny.
"Not that it's any of your business, but I'm going for a job interview." I answer harshly. I did not need this right now.
"So you're single?" He smirks again and flashes his disgustingly straight teeth in the rearview mirror.
"Yes I am." I reply with as much venom as possible.
"Well how about you give me your number baby?" He quickly turns around in his seat and hands me a piece of paper and a pen.
"How about no." I mutter, without taking the pen and paper. We pull up at the airport and the driver turns fully around.
"And why not? You obviously can't get enough of me." He is still wearing that seriously creepy smirk on his face and I just want to hit him.
Instead I give him an honest answer. "Because I'm lesbian and you disgust me." I watch as his face turns into a scowl. I put $50 into his hand. "Notice there's a large tip. Maybe you can go and buy yourself some respect. Or a better idea; a girlfriend. Because you're never going to get one looking like that."
I let out a frustrated sigh as I quickly grab my luggage and enter the airport.

I sat in first class for the first time ever on my flight from New York to Los Angeles. It helps that I wasn't the one that paid for the airfare. Otherwise I'd definitely be in the economy section; struggling to find a comfortable position and having to endure the whole flight with a crying baby wailing it's head off next to me.
But I have a job interview and the company happens to be rich and offered to pay for me.
I ended up sitting next to a well suited businessman who looked like he didn't ever have sex and enjoyed the gruelling prospect of work. So I kept to myself, not really wanting to talk to an uptight rich guy anyway.
Instead I went over my interview notes. Thing is, I don't even know if I want this job. But my best friend told me it was worth a try, and I had nothing better to do. Being freshly graduated at NYCU with a Business Major, I decided to try and grasp a sense of what I wanted to do with it.

As I got off the plane I looked around at all the people holding signs. I was told that a big man would be holding a sign with my name on it and finally I saw him. They certainly weren't exaggerating when they sent the email telling me he was big. Miss Isabela Diego was written in italic font across the white board and held by his large hands.
I smile sweetly as I walk up to him, although I'm kind of intimidated. "Hi I'm Isabela. And you must be...?" I look at him uncertainly.
"Big Rob. Nice to meet you Miss Diego. Your flight was rather late landing." He returns my handshake warmly and smiles; picking up my heavy suitcase easily. "The van is just out here."
I follow his slow but long strides to a van. I jump into the passenger seat and Big Rob drives slowly out of the airport. "Miss Diego it's a 1 hour drive from here to where you are staying. If you would like to sleep I suggest now is the best time." He chuckles and it sounds like a deep throaty growl. "The girls of Fifth Harmony will definitely tire you out. If I wasn't the one driving, I would be sleeping."
So I decide to catch some must needed sleep in preparation for my interview in 4 hours time.
