Ted and Schlatt are childhood bestfriend but they never really told their fans until one day during a chuckle sandwich podcast episode where they just start to tell stories

"I think we probably already told you that one Charlie, but the viewers need to to hear it" Ted started with a smile. Schlatt furrowed his eyebrows wandering what he was gonna say. "There was this one time when my dad took us to outdoor karting."
"Oh yeah I think I heard that one" laughed Charlie.
"I think I was about 14, so Schlatt was like 12. And you know how there's this sort of parcour that you have to follow and it's borded with tires. And there's signs to tell you like slow down because there's a big turn. And Schlatt this fucking dumbass goes full speed, in the turn and just does not turn and goes straight throught the tires barrier, he crossed the entire grass things and crashed onto the other tires thing on the other side (This part is based of personal experience lol). The guy working at the karting thing got so angry at him, he kept yelling about how he should have read the signs and that there was a reason why they were there. And Schlatt, with the straightess face possible, looks at him right in the eyes and just goes : « Sir I'm dyslexic ». Which by the way isn't true at all. And you should have seen the guy's face, he looked like Schlatt had just told him he had cancer and had 3 days left to live. I remember i was trying so hard not to laugh. "
"Yeah" Schlatt laughed. " He apologied to me for 5 straight minutes and even offered us free drinks it was so funny."
"We didn't took the drink by the way" added Ted.
"We should have" said Schlatt.

"Oh actually this is making me think, do you know why people call me Ted and not Theo which would me a more common nickname for Theodore ?"
"I do not know Ted, tell me." Said Charlie with a smile, he in fact knew already but he wanted Ted to tell that story again because they both knew that Schlatt hated it. And let's be honest it was funny as shit to annoy him.
"Noooo guys, c'mon." Schlatt complained.
"We need to tell the people, they need to know" laughed Charlie.
"They really don't, they don't even want to."
"Hey you don't know that, shut up Schlatt" Ted playfuly pretended to yell at him.
Schlatt sighed, giving up.
"Okay so we were at the playground that was like across the street from our houses and I think you were about 4 because it was after my first week of elementary school so I was six. So we're at the playground with I think Schlatt's mom, but she was talking with someone so she wasn't really paying attention to what we were doing. And Schlatt wanted to do the... actually I have no idea how it's called."
Ted turned to Schlatt, than to Charlie. Charlie shrugged. Ted turned back to Schlatt. "It's the fireman thing" the New Yorker said. "The pole"
"Do you know actually, wen I was a kid, we called that thing the stripper pole." Interupted Charlie causing the two other to chuckle.
"The stripper pole ?" Repeted Ted still laughing.
"Yeah, we didn't know what strippers were I think we just heard older siblings call it that and we were just like yeah that's what it is than."
"I can only imagine little Charlie going to his parents and saying «mom, dad, i went down the stripper pole» proudly." Schlatt said between two laughers.
"I probably did, honestly" answered Charlie. "Anyway please go on Ted."
"Uhm yeah so Schlatt wanted to go down the stripper pole obviously i'll telling him not to but Schlatt is terco and stupid so he does it anyway. And the fucker falls. He didn't like hurt himself badly or anything he just had like scratch knees and hands but he was crying like a fucking baby."
"I WAS FOUR" screams Schlatt into the mic.
"And because you were crying like a little baby man I went to check on him, and comfort him because little baby had scratched his knee." He interupted himself, taking a sip of water before continuing with the story. "So I went to check on him, I comfort him and I don't really remember what he said to me but it was something along the lines of "i think Theo is a stupid nickname, i'll call you Ted now" and I asked him why Ted because in my opinion Theo was just fine, you know you could make it rhyme with leo, it was perfect ! And Schlatt says to me "because your like a teddy bear".
"That's cute" said Charlie.
Schlatt was shooking his head no, but everyone could see he had a little smile on his face.

"Okay if you're gonna say embarrassing stuff like that i have some things on you too Theodore "
Without leaving time for Ted to react Schlatt turned to the third member.
"Charlie did you know that he's deadly terrified of snakes"
"Oh God please not the snake story, that's trauma you can't."
"I actually did not know that Schlatt" Charlie answered, ignoring Ted as he was obviously joking.
"We went to the zoo once with Ted's parents and there was you know those vivarium stuff with reptiles ? Yeah so we go in because Ted was acting manly and being like "oh no i'm a man i'm not scared of shit". But when we got to the serpents side of the thing he panicked and i had to take him out he he litteraly threw up. Who the fuck throws up of fear ?"
"Okay okay I can explain what happened there, so what you don't know because you were busy talking about how cool the big snake was-"
"He was so fucking cool guys"
"Schlatt don't interupt him i wanna know" laughed Charlie.
"Yeah shut the fuck up Johnatan I'm talking."
Schlatt raised his hands and signed to zip his mouth.
"So, I do have a huge phobias of those things so I wasn't the most comfortable but it was fine. Until the two motherfucking kids next to me started saying shit like : "imagine eating a snake but alive and you have him ramping up your throat""
"That's disgusting" Charlie agreed nodding.
"Yeah i litteraly wanted to throw up and I was a having a good old panic attack, Schlatt noticed and took me outside. And that's the full story. "
