"Stark I messed up my arm again, can you fix it. Shuri will kill me againnnnn" Bucky finally looked up from his arm to see a short long-haired girl in military clothes "who are you?" he asks, shifting in a fighting stance "don't worry about it" she mumbled continuing to look through starks mess "sit" she pointed to a stool "do you want your arm fixed?" bucky nodded and slowly made his way to the stool she pointed at earlier.
"How does he find anything in this mess? '' she mumbled. After a few minutes of searching, she pulled out some tools and took a seat beside bucky facing him, "give me your hand" he just stared at her "I need it to fix it" bucky snapped out of the trance he was in and handed his metal hand to her. They were there for about two hours. "You really did a job on it" bucky hummed in response "hey kid, what brings you here" tony walked into the lab with obvious sex head and a big mug of coffee "I came here to see you but it looks like you were busy" "yes a very important meeting" "a meeting involving fondue" she took tony's coffee and took a sip "eww" she handed it back "I know you didn't come here to fix buckets hand" she smiled "ah yes, the winter pale, so scary" the both of them had giant smiles on their faces. "I need your help"
Tony turned to her shocked, " did I just hear that miss ghost, the big dog of the military needs MY help" she crossed her arms "very funny, I could go to t'challa, he still owes me" tony placed his mug down "don't you dare, you're my kid, I'm the first person you should come to if you need help"
"My team got captured by hydra, and the government sees hydra as avengers territory I can't move in, so all I need is to make it look like we're working together so I can go in and extract my men. You and the rest of your super secret boy band won't have to lift a finger" pepper entered the lab and handed her a cup of coffee "thanks" the smirk on her face said she put the pieces together "don't" tony pointed to her "it's about time you hit that"
"Y/N MARIA JAMES STARK GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE NOW" pepper called out "sorry, MOM, work to do people to save, say hi to uncle Rhodes for me" she yelled back running down the hall. Bucky looked back and forth between pepper and tony "mom? Tony she called me mom" "she's been doing that since she could talk what's different now " "it's the way she said it tones" "shit," bucky said out loud, the both of them looked to him "what is it Barnes," tony asked him "I remember her, she almost killed me" tony smirked and pepper shook her head.
Bucky was in love with the only woman who could overpower him single handed and worse she was tony's kid.
