Marinette was scared at first but what she saw really broke her heart. Her nightmare is going through emotional pain, not just scaring her all the time but wanting this misery to end. Her memory coming to life was like he can remember the events of his own timeline.

"Oh, Blanc" She got close to him and heard him purring, due to the pain he's feeling and sometimes cats purr when they are in pain or dying.

"Marinette" He hugged her.

"That's what he needed, princess. All that anger and insanity was making him get away from his pain and misery. Not to scare you" Noir explained.

"Is that so?" Marinette asked.

"Love is his weakness, Marinette. Look" Noir puts Marinette's hand on Blanc's chest so she can feel his heartbeat.

It was getting stronger by the second, "For once I've never felt happier" Blanc said.

"I've been to his nightmare realm. All the loneliness he went through made him insane. He wanted you to feel his pain" Noir said.

"I never understood the pain and suffering he has been through" Marinette gently scratched Blanc's chin. The white feline villain purred and licked her cheek like a cat.

"Oh, kitty" Marinette giggled.

"You feeling better, brother?" Noir asked his doppelgänger.

"Yes, never been better. This is the love I've wanted in my heart" Blanc said.

"My poor kitty" Marinette can see the pain in his blue eyes.

Blanc placed a hand on her cheek, "Please don't ever leave me again, Marinette" He still purred again.

"I'll never leave you, Kitty," Marinette said.

Blanc smiled at her and held her hand, "Even if I go back to your mind, I don't know if I'll still be your nightmare" He said.

"You'll be better since you got love in your heart again," Marinette said.

"And maybe in her dream realm, she'll find a way to clean up that apocalyptic mess" Noir said.

"Yes, so I can be the hero again," Blanc said.

"You feeling better? Do you need to be petted?" Marinette asked.

Blanc put his head on her lap, "Yes please"

"What a pussy cat you are, brother" Noir teased him.

"You just got a new pet" Blanc joked.

Marinette pets Blanc's head to help him feel better from all the pain and misery he had for too long. He purred in happiness again and his tail belt moved.

"Good, kitty, kitty" Marinette pets his ears.

"Meow" Blanc closed his eyes.

"Just like milady would say, love, conquers hate" Noir said.

"Seems she's right my knight in leather armor" Marinette joked.

"Heh, I'm always your knight and puuuurrrrrtector" Cat Noir smirked.

"Thank you, Cat Noir" Marinette smiled.

A while later after the white feline has calmed down from his anger and hatred, he was starting to fade a little due to Marinette's fear getting under control.

"Thank you two for everything" He spoke out before fading completely.

Marinette then hugs Cat Noir close, crying softly.

"Don't worry, you'll see him again in your dreams. Hopefully, he doesn't try to give you nightmares again" Cat Noir purred softly to soothe her.

"Thanks to us, Cat Noir. And again, thank you for all the therapy" Marinette said.

"It's what I do, my puuurrrrincess. A princess always has an animal to talk to" Cat Noir said.

"You're so funny, Kitty" Marinette then kissed his cheek.

"Now that Blanc is back where he belongs, this kitty has to go now. Your Prince Charming might come back soon." Cat Noir did a gentle lick on her cheek like a cat.

"See ya, Cat Noir" Marinette said.

Cat Noir got away from the apartment to find a place to change back to Adrien. He found an alley and transformed back before going back to the bakery.

"I can't believe you never thought he was evil," Plagg said.

"He was me, Plagg," Adrien said.

"Yeah, but we don't know what his alternate timeline was like before he got akumatized" Plagg said.

"Yeah, but we might never know," Adrien said and got back to the bakery finding Marinette happier than before, "Whoa, someone's happy. What happened?" Adrien asked, pretending he doesn't know.

"Just that you came back" Marinette hugged him.

"I understand, I was just enjoying my freedom," Adrien said.

A while later, in the dream realm, Cat Blanc's kingdom was no longer an apocalyptic nightmare anymore, it was now filled with the bioluminescence jungle of Paris.

"It's perfect. I wish my Marinette could've seen it" Cat Blanc admired it.

He took a glowing pink fruit from the vines and munched on it, "Yum" He looks up at the now whole moon in the sky. Instead of it broke in half, the craters made the shape of a cat's paw print.

"I hope my actions in the real world gave the other me and Marinette a much better future. This nightmare's a dream now" He folded his hands behind his head smiling.

Outside the dream realm, it was now morning and Marinette told her friends at school that Cat Noir and Adrien helped her overcome her fears and panic attacks.

"That was so sweet of our cat hero to help you," Alya said.

"Yeah, even Adrien as well had the heart to help me out," Marinette said.

The girls awed which made the ex-model blush in embarrassment, "Well, she needed the best of care from the panic attacks" He smiles nervously.

"So how does it feel being all free from modeling?" Alix wondered.

"Pretty good and no more bodyguard to watch over where I go," Adrien said.

"And I hear you are living with dudette," Nino said.

"Yeah, it was thanks to the white counterpart of Cat Noir," Adrien said.

"I knew your father was a bad man, after what he has done," Nino said.

"Cat Blanc made me open my eyes to see the truth. He was right that my father has filled my head with lies." Adrien sighed in disappointment.

"I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through all that," Nino said.

"It's fine. At least I can finally live with a real true family. That's what I really wanted." Adrien said.

"Yeah, but that won't make us brother and sister," Marinette said.

"Let's say I'm a permanent guest" Adrien blushed.

"Yeah. Something like that" Marinette nodded.

"Well, now that you got your freedom, it's a new life ahead," Rose said.

"Yes, it is" Marinette said.

Later that night as Marinette slept, it goes into the dream realm where Cat Blanc was holding a flower looking over Paris.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng, thank you for finding the peace I've wanted. Take care of Adrien and Cat Noir for me" He said with a smile before having his peace in the dream world.

In the real world, Marinette smiles in her sleep that Blanc finally is at peace, no longer having to deal with panic attacks now that Adrien lives with her.
