Adrien was now having dinner with the Dupain-Cheng family, something that he really wanted all along without having to eat alone. They are a true family to him. The family had never seen him eat much due to his father's strict diet.

"This is so much better than at the mansion," Adrien said.

"That's so gorgeous——I mean kind of you" Marinette stammered.

"Thank you, Marinette" Adrien smiled.

"I can't believe that white doppelgänger of Cat Noir told the agency of the Child Protection Service about it," Sabine said.

"Me neither, I thought he was a pure villain, an opposite of Cat Noir," Tom said.

"He said he's from an alternate timeline that got erased or something. Maybe he knew my father was the villain the whole time and wanted to set things right" Adrien shrugged.

"Alternative you say?" Marinette pretends to not know.

"That's what he said" Adrien shrugged.

"Okay then" Marinette replied.

"You're welcome to stay as long as you want Adrien" Sabine said.

After dinner, the two teenagers were in Marinette's room chatting. It was nice to have a human friend to talk to rather than Plagg making cheese metaphors that annoy his owner.

"If only I knew what it's really like to have a brother or sister," Adrien said shyly.

"Yeah, same. We're both only child of each family" Marinette blushed.

"Being an only child can be very lonely sometimes. Being the oldest or youngest is not easy." Adrien said.

"Yeah, I know," Marinette said.

"Since you're feeling a lot better, I'll let you have a moment with your favorite alley cat. You two look so cute together" Adrien chuckled.

"Thank you, Adrien" Marinette said and smiled.

Adrien smiled too and left the room and headed downstairs to find a place to transform, "Plagg claws out!" He transformed to Cat Noir.

He jumped out the window and up to the balcony roof but he saw Blanc taking a nap on the lawn chair while purring like a kitten.

"What are you doing here?!" He asked.

Blanc opened his eyes with a glare, "Uh, catnapping, duh. Sheesh, when was the last time you've been petted?"

"Just recently. How long have you been there?" Cat Noir asked.

"2 hours ago. A cat needs his catnap, not catnip" Blanc stretched like a cat.

"I see. Well, the Dupain-Cheng family is the best one can ask for" Noir said.

"I knew that living with them would make you happy. Or is it because you love croissants as your favorite cat food?" Blanc making fun of him.

"Maybe both" Noir replied.

"One of these days, our princess will have to face me. Directly I mean. Her fear feeds me and who knows if I get stronger by the second" Blanc said.

"I don't think she's ready to see your face. Besides, you don't like to be petted. Now go hunt rats or birds since cats eat them" Noir said but he spoke too soon when Blanc caught a pigeon with his reflex.

"Even as a nightmare, I don't have allergies" He chuckled and sank his teeth on the bird to kill it.

"Urgh!" Noir flinched and backed off to not sneeze.
