One of my former friends years ago sang so many Hamilton songs and constantly talked about it that I almost didn't give this musical a chance. This video is a perfect example of what I experienced from them.
Now I've gotten into Hamilton and this video sums up my thought process whenever I'm asked what my favorite song is...
Putting aside the last minute or two with the most audible songs (the end of My Shot and the end of Nonstop) I heard:
-The beginning of Alexander Hamilton (song) and Guns and Ships (they both have the same melody if I remember correctly)
-The beginning of My Shot (the first few seconds of the video) and during the middle of the video (3-minute mark)
-The [BLEEP] sound effect from The Adams Administration
-One of the Cabinet Battles(?)
-Bits and pieces of Burn
-The End of What Did I miss?
-The end of Yorktown
-Take a Break
-One Last Time
-The end of Satisfied
Chris Jackson, Renée Elise Goldberry, and Phillipa Soo have some powerful voices. I could practically hear Renée's/Phillipa's high notes amidst all that chaos!
I'll update this chapter once I hear anything else among this hellhole, lol!
