You and Harry were running up the stairs to go to the Ravenclaw Tower. Both of you passing by several students, running down to get ready to fight or taking shelter to hide from Voldemort and the war. You and Harry held hands as the two of you runned up the stairs.
"Did you ever expect that this will be your life 7 years ago?" Harry asked while panting as the two of you tried to pick up the pace to find the Diadem.
"Not really. I expected to be locked in the mansion until I turned 18" You said also panting and trying to catch your breath
"I expected to myself to be rotting under the stairs" Harry said
"Harry! Y/n!" The two of you stopped in your tracks turning to look at who called the two of you only to see Ron and Hermione.
"Hermione and I have been thinking. It doesn't matter if we find a Horcrux" Ron said as you furrowed your eyebrows and scrunched up your nose in confusion
"What do you mean?" You and Harry asked at the same time
"Unless we can destroy it" Hermione said
"So we were thinking—"
"Ron was thinking. It was Ron's idea. It's brilliant" Hermione said looking at Ron before back at the two of you.
"You destroyed Tom Riddle's diary with a basilisk fang, right? Me and Hermione know where we might find one" Ron said and then it all made sense
"That is a brilliant idea!" You praised Ron as the two of you high five each other
"Okay.....okay, but take this. That way you
can find us when you get back" Harry handed Ron the Marauders Map as the two of you began to run up the stairs again not letting go of each others hands. Twins need to stick together right
"Where are you two going?" Hermione asked
"I have no idea. I'm just making him drag me along" You said cheekily earning Harry to nudge you making you pout
"Ravenclaw common room" Harry answered "Gotta start somewhere."
Harry kept dragging you along with him but you runned beside him anyway but halfway you stopped making Harry look at you. You looked at your brother, pulling him in a hug.
"I don't know what will happen to us, Harry but I want you to know that you are the best brother anyone could have ask for. It was a pleasure knowing you for 7 years, Brother" You said as Harry hugged you. Students kept running around.
"Nothing will happen to us" Harry whispered
"You don't know that, Brother" You pulled away, cupping his cheek, caressing it making you smile.
"I love you, Harry" A tear dropped
"Y/n...Don't say that. We are gonna be okay. We will get through this together—"
"I know we will!" You cut him off "But I need you to know that, Harry. We dont have a grasp of our own destiny" You said to him
"No, you listen to me Y/n Potter. We are gonna make it, we are gonna win" Harry said with determination. It made you chuckle as you glaze your finger on his lightning bolt scar.
"I know" You said simply pecking his cheek.
"Y/n?" Harry questioned
"Lets make a promise...when this is all over. Lets celebrate, apocalyptic feast?" You asked him making Harry smile
"Promise" He brought out his pinkie and you intertwined yours with him
"Promise.."
"Come on!" Harry said holding your hand
