"This is her! she's beautiful brother! Luna it is an honour to finally meet you! I'm your mates business partner and friend Luca. Of Course I'm the better half but you know that already don't you"

I feel my face heat as he kneels in front of me. I look at Arthur who's busy rolling his eyes with a smirk on his face.

"Luca will you get up and stop being so dramatic, aspen this is Luca, Luca this is aspen"

I stuck my hand out to shake his and he yanked me off the seat and hugged me, spinning me around in the air.

"Would you get off you man child"

I scolded him, Arthur snorts and laughed as Luca set me down and threw me an offended face.

"Ohhh already scolding us, what fun we are going to have with her"

I rolled my eyes and chuckled then I took my seat back down on Arthur who kissed my cheek.

"Sit down Luca I have to talk to you it's important"

I sigh and look away then back at Arthur

"Do you want me to stay or do you mind if I go find Fay and Arden"

"Go find them love, but don't be long"

I kissed him and waved to Luca then I walked towards the bar where Fay and Arden were. I sink in between them and hide not wanting to see or hear the conversation they were about to have.

"How do you feel?"

Fay asks me squeezing my shoulder. I'm not sure how I felt. I felt like the sun no longer Shawn in the sky and now it's only purpose was to make day day. The clouds were always grey and the sky was always boring. The trees were dull and lifeless.

"Like shit"

Arden handed me a shot glass and I looked at him with my eyebrow raised

"What's this for?"

He smirked and winked at me

"They have wolf shots, I swear I nearly passed out when I had one. It's like liquor for wolves"

I sunk it in one and nearly coughed up a lung

"Well fuck, I need more"

Arden stood back and I laughed. He had a line of them poured and ready to go. I grabbed 2 and downed them squinting when they hit me and instantly I could feel a small buzz. I decided to wait a while before I ended up drunk but screaming from Arthur's direction got everyone's attention.

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN! You were cured! This is a sick fucking joke Arthur!"

"Luca sit down I'm not joking"

"NO I DONT EXCEPT THAT!!!! WHERE IS THE DOCTOR. IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE"

He shouted to the growing guest around us. Fuck the waiting I sank 2 more shots and turned to Arden,

"Have a tray of them brought to the table I better get over there"

I walk over as Luca smashes a chair on the ground and crumbles to the floor. I went to him and lifted his chin to look at me.

"I know you don't know me. And you probably think I have no right to be heartbroken over this but I am. And I'm here for you, his only wish is that we support each other throughout this. So I'm here for you but you need to calm down the pack doesn't know yet and they have a right to find out in the right way"

To my surprise Luca pulls me towards him and cries into my shoulder. I look at Arthur a little panicked that he's touching me but Arthur smiles and mouths 'you can hug him back' so I do. I held the huge man child and I let him cry his heart out. Arden comes up behind me and I pull his face up and put a shot to his lips.

Tears rolled down his face and I emptied it into his mouth. He squinted but drank it so I gave him another. After the fourth shot I managed to get him onto a chair beside Arthur who hands me a smoke. I light it and stuff it into Lucas' mouth as Arden places more shots in front of him. I look at Arthur, he has his own tears rolling down his face so I kiss them.

"Thank you. I told you he needs you. I'm glad you have each-"

He sobs into my shoulder and I can't help but cry too. I feel a weight on my shoulder and realise Luca is holding us both crying. I'm not sure how long we sat there for but by the time we sat back up my dress was soaked with tears. I shivered slightly.

"Shit I'm sorry aspen. Her take my jacket"

Luca said to me but I shook my head. It felt wrong to wear another man's shirt.

"It's fine I'll dry off, I'm a hellhound I don't get cold it's just shock"

I heat my skin up slightly and my dress starts to steam as the water evaporates and my dress starts to dry.

"That is extremely cool"

Arthur says watching it. He pulls me closer and shivers

"And your so warm I love it"

I smile and lean my face against his. He's wearing a jacket but he still feels cold. I'll need to remember that for the future. Luca pokes my skin and shivers to, I look at his hand and he lifts it and chuckles

"Sorry I'm just curious. How hot can you get?"

He sits back slightly and I pull my hand out and ignite my hand, I roll it around and catch the fire in the palm of my hands and lift it to my lips and I blow it into the air. The fire spreads out into the night and each ball looks like little fireflies before they dissolve.

"Hotter than you can imagine"

"That was beautiful baby"

Arthur and Luca watches the last of my fires burn out, Arden smiles

"Show off, I can't even roll mine it's not fair"

I roll my eyes

"Yes but your more banshee than me so your scream is louder"

"Yeah but I have to deal with the visions"

He answers

"Don't be so sour you have been blocking them since you learned how. You have better control over that then I do and I have better control over my fire"

I say back shaking my head.

"It's insanely cool"

Luca said looking between us Arden nods

"You should meet our little cousin Ailm, she's insane and I mean insane, but she was born from 2 hellhounds and she can manipulate her fire in insane ways"

"I'd love to see that"

Arthur smiles at me I nod

"I'll have her come by sometime soon, but I'm warning you they are not wise. They can't be killed and they can't be hurt and I have never met anyone more reckless and ballsy in my life. Her and our other cousin got expelled from school for driving their bikes off the roof. They went viral on YouTube"

"Hang on, you mean the 2 crazy girls who do stunts on the internet?"

"Yeah, imagine that's the future alpha and beta of the Oneil pack. Heaven help them is all I can say"

Arden answers, shaking his head. I roll my eyes at him

"Oh come on they are good girls, don't say that about them I bet they will make a great alpha and beta"

Everyone was so quick to condemn them both, basically listed them as the black sheep in our family and it genuinely annoyed me.

"I'm actually really excited to meet them now"

Arthur states happily, I took another shot and Arthur handed me another and took one himself, we sat talking with each other as mum and dad arrived with the betas and gamma, they all came to sit with us. But I didn't miss the looks our betas were giving Luca and it really annoyed me. I tapped his shoulder and waved him closer, he came to my side immediately.

"She's lying about you coming on to her, it was the other way around"

He pulled back with a smirk

"How do you know?"

I shrug and smile back lifting a cigarette and lighting it up

"Because I saw through it. Plus I told her I would get my Nan to check your thoughts so we could see the truth. You should have seen her face"

He chuckles and watches me for a moment then licks his lips and pulls his hands through his hair.

"Why would you do that for me? Have your Nan clear my name?"

I frown

"Because your Arthurs best friend, you mean a lot to him and he doesn't believe what she was saying so either do i"

He looks over my shoulder and smiles

"She's even better then you described"

I blush, damn body giving away my attraction for the beast before me. I curse myself as beatha howls in laughter in my head. I look back at Arthur who is grinning.

"I told you there wasn't even words I could use to describe how amazing she is"

Now I blush double, Luca laughs and runs his finger down my cheek and my body shivers under his touch, I freeze wide eyed and he smirks biting his lip and pulling his hand back. My heart hammers in my chest as I swoon over the handsome stranger. What the fuck is wrong with me. Arthur laughs and sits forward kissing my cheek.

"Stop teasing her she's going to have a heart attack"

Luca looks almost proud of himself, I curse under my breath and look anywhere but at him catching fays eye and she gives me a knowing smirk.

"Stop it"

I snap at her and she bursts out laughing and shakes her head

"Never"

I groan and roll my eyes and down 2 shots, then I lift another and go to hand it to her but then pull it away and down it

"Haha you can't have any"

She zeros her eyes in at me

"Your such a bitch"

"Your a bigger bitch"

"Your the biggest bitch"

"Haha you can't have any"

"Mum, dad aspens being a bitch and teasing me because I can't drink"

She zeros her eyes in at me and I gasp as dad groans

"Aspen that is not nice apologies to your sister now"

I gawk at him and she grins as mum mutters something about us being big children

"I can't believe you told our parents on me, I'm never sneaking you coffee again"

She gasps and dad growls standing up

"Aspen I will move you to the seat beside me if you don't stop terrorising your sister now stop this instant"

I groan and huff crossing my arms and I look away from a grinning fay, Luca and Arthur are watching us and I just roll my eyes then sneak a look back at her.

"I'm sorry fay"

"Fayyyyy"

Dad said, arms crossed looking at her she sighs and smiles at me

"I'm sorry aspen"

I give her a small smile and she reaches over and leans in my direction

"Your still going to sneak me coffee aren't you?"

I chuckle and nod

"Always sister"

We fist pump as Arden comes back to the table and sits down taking fay on his knee, I look to Arthur who was completely amused

"What?"

"Your just such a child sometimes"

"Why have parents if you can't piss them off"

He snorts and nods

"I'm not saying it's bad, in fact I think I love it about you, how you all act together. It's refreshing"

I smile as dad settles back down and talks with the beta and gamma. They had been going over everything with mum and dad's new roles, so they knew what they would be doing while they stood in for me and Arthur.

Myself and Fay decided to go to the bathroom as Arden and Luca went to get more shots, although they gave you a light buzz it seemed to stop working but it's better then no buzz

"I have got to say Luca is fine"

She says behind me while she Pees

"Yes he is built like a house, I swear if I didn't have a mate and seen him, I think I would have broken my virginity packet. He's just all man or something"

I whisper back not wanting anyone to overhear us. We switch places and wash our hands.

"I think you will like it here it's nice"

"It is. I'm glad we have our own house though. I'd rather it just be us all and Arthur. Less structure and stress"

"Yeah it's lovely"

We link arms and head back towards our table, Luca is standing at the bar looking towards our table with a scowl on his face and his eyes dart to a girl who's sitting on Arthur. Arthur has his hands in the air, he doesn't see me but I can hear him.

"Get the fuck of me Angelica! That was years ago and there will not be a repeat. I have a mate who I love and I will throw you in the dungeon if you upset her"

"Don't be silly, I know she's just for show. I'm the real Luna of this pack"

"No you're not and never have been! Get of me"

He tries to push her Off but she doesn't listen, I notice the crowd around him rolling their eyes. She catches his arms so he's awkwardly stuck. Beatha pushes forward And growls

I see the crowd's eyes widen and Luca smirks, Arthur lets out a sigh of relief when he sees me as she tries to kiss him. I catch her by the back of her hair and I rip her off him.

"He told you to get off him"

I stand over her and hold her hair. She screeches at me and tries to hit me and I can't help but snort and laugh. I shake my head.

"What the hell is that? Is that how you fight?"

I cackled away to myself as she tried to get out of my hold. She looked like a fool.

"Fuck you he doesn't want you. He wants me he's always wanted me"

"Ohh is that so, so tell me when's the last time he kissed you?"

She says nothing

"Hugged you?"

Nothing..

"Fucked you?"

"Just because I haven't done any of that in a while doesn't mean he doesn't want me. You're just a stand in to make the pack look good."

"No I'm not. Warriors I want this girl to be brought straight to the hospital, she is to be placed in a padded cell and she will have a full mental health assessment. She will not be released until I talk with the doctor myself"

"You can't fucking do that you bitch"

I hear gasps in the crowd, I get down to her level and whistle, Akela and killer comes from inside where mum was standing,

"Oh I can and I will. Now if you fight against this or cause any trouble my mothers wolves love flesh. It's there favourite thing to eat so if you cause any trouble I'll let them have you do you understand"
