Hell I didn't think people came this good looking, I didn't think it was possible but there was no doubt about it, he was personally made from the lord Himself and sent straight from heaven above.

He had the most mesmerising deep brown eyes that stared straight through me. His skin was golden and perfect, stretched tight over pure muscle covered in tribal tats.

His body seemed to expand and grow in front of my eyes, there was just so much of him to look at. This was no boy, he was all man. His five o'clock shadow only added to his allour, and then there was his aura it reeked of dominance and nolodge

His eyes said he was older than his time but his face was definitely a little younger, maybe 24/25. But there was something in his features that said he had been through hell and back at least once.

His eyes locked on my own and before I knew it my body was standing like I had zero control over it, until I heard the only word in the world that would make everything start moving again. Make time tick on and head back to reality. From his lips slipped that one word that shocked me to the core and made my heart stop beating.

"MATE"

He walks towards me and I nearly fall over my chair trying to get away from him. Put some distance between us. I'm too young to have a mate, this can't be happening.

"Nope not mate, Nope Nope Nope not happening"

Hurt passed his features and I felt a pang of guilt but I was right, he must be wrong I was too young. My cousins just sat there looking at us like we had 10 heads with their jaws on the floor so I looked to Luca for help unsure of what to do. He was like my big brother. He's bound to help me wouldn't he.

"You are our mate I'm sure of it"

He says to me confidently. Damn I wish I was confidently sure on what the fuck is happening around me right now. Luca seems to come out of his shock and he smiles at me and steps forward. I take a sigh of relief and pull my chair from the ground and I sit on it

"Deacon she's only 17 she doesn't feel the bond yet you're scaring her so chill or i'll put you out. I told you they are like little sisters to me and I will pummel you into next week if you freak her out anymore"

I grab my fork and put a piece of pasta on my fork and eat it trying to calm my beating heart and distract my busy mind.

"You're seriously eating right now?"

Aspen asks me with a smirk, I frown and look at the food.

"Eh yeah the pasta didn't do anything wrong"

I take another bite and smile at her, she pushes her own plate away and sighs

"I better ring your mum"

I cringe and shake my head

"Better off starting with dad, mums still pissed about me getting expelled for -um that anonymous person trying to frame me and poor isla for those rotten pranks."

She snorts laughing and rolls her eyes picking up her phone,the walking sex machine slowly takes a seat opposite me, he is yet to say another word but his eyes bore into me making me uncomfortable

"Would you stop doing that"

I snap at him

"Doing what?"

"Watching me eat"

I put another forkful of food in my mouth, he smiles at me and I sigh

"I'm not sure how you're even hungry, this is quite the shock don't you think?"

What is he? the queens damn servant? why is he so posh? I just gasp at him and looked to aspen

"I thought you said he wasn't stuck up his own arse?"

"He's not"

"Yes I'm definitely not"

I snort and roll my eyes

"Whatever you say but you sounded stuck up to me"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

I growl back and zero my eyes at him, Luca snorts

"Don't poke the bear deacon it's not worth it, and you be nicer please you might not like the situation but it's here and it's happening so be polite and deal with it properly"

I groan and hold my head in my hands and shake it

"What's the point? If he's not my fated the mate bond will disappear. Better off waiting to see if it appears if it doesn't then I'll just reject him"

He growls at me and he stands up

"Your not rejecting me"

Luca shakes his head and yanks him back down in his seat. Aspen comes back in rubbing her head

"Your parents will be here soon"

"Your still not rejecting me Ailm you are mine and I am yours"

I can't help but feel irritated by his description

"Bullshit I have a month before I can be claimed, so go fuck yourself and leave me be"

I get up and storm into our bedroom, isla runs in after me and locks the door behind her. She puts her finger to her lips and swings keys in her other hand. I grin and open the window and slowly climb out with isla beside me.

We go straight to the garage and start to fill our tools into the boot of our stalk car then isla takes the break of and I push the car out of the garage and we roll it down the road a little, when we are far enough away we jump in and start it, it rattles to life and I cringe knowing they will hear it.

We take off as Aspen starts to ring Islas phone, she answers it and puts it on loudspeaker.

"You did not just leave me with him!"

"Sorry but I'm not ready to be claimed, let dad deal with him and we will be at the track please cuz I'll owe you"

She groans

"Fine, just so you know I'm on your side here"

"Thank you, chat you at the track"

I smile as isla hangs up, my cousin was awesome.

Aspens POV

of all things to happen, and of all times for this particular thing to happen. I rub my head and go for a joint, Luca drags deacon outside by the arm. He wasn't going to let him out of his sight.

"I just don't understand why the bond is in place if she's only 17"

Deacon rants out loud to no one in particular, mum and dad walk out and I sigh in relief they will know better than me.

"Probably because you're fated, only the fated can feel the bond. Stop worrying, now you have met the marks will appear and she will have no choice but to give you a chance"

I light the joint and lay back against Luca, he wraps his arms around me and kisses my temple.

"How am I meant to stay away from her? No she's going to have to come home with me"

We all growl at the same time as mum takes him by the throat

"You will not touch her without her permission because I will peel your skin off you slowly and painfully! Do you understand!!"

The fear radiates of him like crazy

"Yes mam"

"Plus you don't want them girls running wild in your pack. The only people who seem to have the ability to keep them under control are these 2, those girls will walk all over you, eat you and spit you to the wolves."

He frowns and looks at me and I could see the questions in his mind. I look to Luca

"Let's show him the video, he might understand then"

Luca kisses my hand and walks back into the house and sets Arthur's memorial video up. I stay outside while he watches because I refuse to cry anymore, Luca stays with me and we smoke then head to the office to get some work done.

After around an hour the door knocks and deacon comes in and sits opposite us, he was quiet and obviously deep in thought.

"So they are like that all the time?"

Luca snorts and shakes his head

"No they are like that with us, the day we met them Aspen parked my car on the driveway and 2 bikes landed on the bonnet. They pulled a trick driving off the roof. They showed zero remorse, just said sorry dude we planned that trick when nobody was around. That's what they are like all the time with everyone else. Here we gave them a stalk car, we set certain boundaries that for most people crosses a line but it's far enough over the line that they won't break them and that makes them feel good about it. We let them pull tricks, race cars. All we ask is that they respect the people we ask them to respect, show up to training every morning and do one hour of online courses."

Deacon rubs his face and groans leaning on his knees, I pull out my phone and I go to videos of the girls at 6 and I let him watch them use a bike to do tricks on an adult size ramp, he takes the phone and cringes here and there

"See, they have been like that since they could walk"

I show him how the girls got expelled from school the first time and he freezes and I could smell the fear of him as he watches

"Damn. They really are crazy"

"Yep, but we give them projects. Stuff they are interested in. Arthur was amazing at that, the little turds are always stoned so Arthur had the great idea to plant a field of weed, they supply the hospital's, nursing homes and sick and injured with enough to keep them comfortable and now they have plans when they take over their parents pack that they are going to start a business farming medical grade cannabis to local health shops. So you see it's all about how you approach them and talk to them, they have always been feared by there pack for being different but there is something different about them, since they were kids and instead of fearing that part of them we embraced it and now they trust us and we all love them and I mean our pack adores them."

He looks between us

"So what do I do?"

He asks us both, Luca clears his throat

"Look they were expelled from school anyway so they will be staying here for a while, you obviously are not allowed to touch her until she is 18 but you can come and go, earn both of their trusts, and whatever you do don't hold them back, let them be them and they are lovable little farts even if I do throw them in the pool everyday for being pains in my ass but still, they are good hearted girls. They helped us care for Arthur and then when he died they helped to keep his memory alive as well as bringing us out of that dark place. They are special and you will see that but don't squash there spirit and don't listen to other peoples opinions about them and always have their backs"

I smile at Luca and squeeze his hand

"He's right, do what he says. Oh andbe prepared for people's attitude about them. I'm not sure why but it's like they have a target on their backs"

Luca snorts and laughs loudly, deacon stays with us until I hear the car pull up and we head back to the kitchen, Megan and Brian storm in, in a panic

"Where are they?"

Megan asks, her heart was racing. I put my hands up and smile

"She's good Megs, her and isla are at the track getting ready for the races they are fine"

She sighs in relief and her heart starts to slow down but Brian is staring at a very nervous deacon.

"This the boy?"

Deacon puts his hand out to Brian and I watch as he flinches away slightly as his power rolls over him. He takes his hand and shakes it.

"Yes I'm deacon sir, but don't worry sir iv had a good talk with aspen and Luca and I have no intentions of going near your daughter as anything more than a friend until she's at least 18"

Brian relaxes a little then pulls his hand away and walks to the coffee pot.

"Good because I really don't want to kill you"

I smirk at his cool demeanour

"Happy to hear that sir"

I bite back my laugh and look away trying not to laugh, Megan looks him over

"So what are your plans?"

"Well I will come and visit her here, let her continue with her projects. Maybe even help if she lets me, but mostly I just want to make her happy and be around her until she's the age to feel the bond, and Ofcourse learn how to be around her without killing her spirit"

Megan looks at me and Luca and smiles

"Are they still doing that stuff? I thought they would have given up by now"

Luca and I frown. They had zero faith in them and it annoyed us both.

"Of Course they are, they are dedicated to it, we even helped them with a business plan. Before they returned to school they almost had there GED online. They agreed to finish that, they even helped setting up the bar and come to training. They are very dedicated, you should have a little more faith in them"

I try not to snap but I know it sounded bitchy, Megan shrugged and looked away a little guilty

"Well you need to understand the girls that we have at home are nothing like the girls you have here."

"Because you fear them and treat them like they are lunatics. They are my best friends and feel more like little sisters to me"

She rolls her eyes and takes a seat

"That's easy for you to say, did you hear what they did at the school"

I chuckle

"Yep I did actually, I don't understand why you even sent them back. They do better online"

"They are going to be alpha and beta they need an education"

"And they are getting one, school doesn't work for everyone. They look at life different to us, maybe if you put yourself in their shoes you would understand better. Both of those girls have the ability to run that pack with there eyes closed, just have faith in that fact"

Luca snaps at them both, Brian laughs and shakes his head

"You really do care for them don't you?"

"Ofcourse, they are like the annoying little sisters that I never had, and I love them the same and deacon knows if he hurts a hair on there head I'll string him up by the balls"

We all laugh and Brian squeezes Megan's shoulder

"Maybe they should stay here for a while, let them continue with there projects and if they want to come home we will put the same boundaries in place for them"

Megan looked at me and I new she wanted to agree but was afraid like she would be abandoning them

"Don't worry Megan, they won't think anything of it, they can stay here as long as they want, they have most of their stuff here anyway, they have their own room, their own spot in the garage. Plus they really do listen to us"

She smiles and relaxes

"Do you mind if we stay tonight? I would like to watch them race. Plus I want to talk to them about all this"

She points to deacon with a grin.

"Ofcourse, your rooms are ready for tomorrow anyway, we have some more work to get finished and we will see you at dinner, deacon your free to lunge around and do whatever just stay away from the track for now. Give her space"

He nods and we all go our separate ways, I lock the door of the office and lay on the sofa and rub my temples. Luca lifts my body and places me down on his knee.

"We already finished our work"

I shrug

"I know but I can't stand them talking down about them and this day has already given me a migraine"

He starts to rub my head with his fingertips and I sigh relaxing against him

"I know, but hey they are staying with us now so that's got to help. We know what they are capable of. I wish everyone else could see what we see but maybe when we get them on the straight and narrow everyone will see it and stop treating them like a ticking time bomb"

He's right, they do treat them like it and it really does piss me off. I understand they have been difficult but I can't understand why they can't see the truth. They hate to be alone with their heads so they act out to stop the pain.

If they are busy and you trust them they are less likely to rebel. I understand in the past they were hard workers but the day they first came here they changed and it's not fair that they are still being blamed for their old ways.

I just hope that deacon can see what we see.

Deacons POV

She was beautiful and a force to be reckoned with, I could see the connection she had to her cousin and I didn't mind that. Their chemistry told me they were more like sisters, or better yet twins then they are cousins.

After I learned a little about them both I have to say I did like them, they were funny and crazy and I liked how much aspen and Luca cared for them it was clear Megan her mother had given up on her. I didn't like that, it left a bad taste in my mouth when she talked about her, I could see aspen and Luca get pissed and in the end when they agreed to take the girls I was genuinely happy.

My pack was probably closer to Brian's than it is here but here they seem to flourish and I want to learn how to let them do that. I want Ailm to be happy and feel the same way she does at my pack as she does here.

By the sounds of it her own pack didn't like her much, I get it, they are wild but why are they wild? Why do they act the way they do? There has got to be a reason and I'm on a mission to find out why.

I waited around patiently all day, the girls respected Luca and Aspen enough to listen to them so I decided I would listen to them too. If I wanted in I need to be patient, but dex was scrapping at my insides begging to get out to her.

I sat tapping the table as we ate dinner, aspen growls and suddenly a spoon hits me in the head.

"Hi what the fuck!"

I rub my head and she rolls her eyes

"Stop tapping your giving me a headache"

There was something about her that I liked, it's like from the moment you meet her she just treats you like a brother, even though she was blunt and to the point she was also kind.

"Sorry I'm just having trouble keeping dex back he wants to see her"

Luca gave me a sympathetic smile

"Oh just wait until you see her on the track, just remember to keep telling yourself she can't die by fire or crashing"

I internally groan, I always thought I wanted a mate who wouldn't be afraid to get hurt but damn now it scared the life of me. They were all crazy and I was afraid my wolf would take over and be a dick.

After we finished eating we made our way to the track, we went straight to the girls and my heart stopped when I saw her. She was so beautiful.

Her hair was black and messy sitting on a bun on her head, her lips plump and pink with high cheekbones and each cheek had a constant little blush that ran over her nose. Her vibrant blue eyes were hypnotising and her body was Curvy as hell.

She had the most amazing ass i've ever seen and boobs that equally matched her figure. She stood in front of me in a black car suit with a pink belt pinched around her tiny waist, she was small but deadly and I loved that.

She had an air of confidence around her, she was definitely more alpha then Luna and she knew that. But there was something else, something that she hides from the world but I'm not sure what it is but you can see it around her eyes. Like they should be brighter but she has lost some hope.

That's the moment I realised I would do anything so she could regain that hope, regain that sparkle that I knew was hidden within her. I decided to play it cool and look at her car.

"This was Luca's car wasn't it?"

I ask walking around running my fingertips over it. She smiled

"Yeah, his and Arthur's spare one they gave it to us before he... yeah they gave it to us. We updated the engine and did some work to it. It's better than all the other cars so hopefully we can keep our title"

I smile at her and lift the bonnet, suddenly curious about the car they put so much work into. If she can build an engine she was smarter than most people I know. How can her mother not see that? I look around and I'm impressed, damn not even I could do that

"That's amazing, it's very impressive. Iv known people who have spent their life working on cars and they couldn't do that"

She grins brightly

"Thank you, do you drive?"

It was working and my wolf was prancing around in my head over the moon that she was talking to us.

"Yes, I use to come here every week but my dad has been really ill over this last year so i've been helping him and running the pack on my own so I haven't had much time to come here, but he's turned a corner now and I couldn't miss Arthur's pub opening so he's holding down the fort while I'm here"

She frowned and looked at me sideways

"You don't have a beta?"

I shake my head

"Nope, I had one but she met her mate and she is a Luna now so I never appointed another because I had dad, but I am trying to find a replacement"

She seemed to take in the information and she took a step closer and hell she smelled so good.

"I'm sorry for saying I would reject you. I'm just afraid that my mate and my fated won't be the same people like Aspen and my mum. It worked ok for aspen but not good for mum and I'm a little afraid of what might happen if I were to accept you and my fated come along. I didn't mean to be so harsh and I'm sorry"

I take a step closer to her and put my hands on her shoulders, she watches me cautiously

"How about we just take it slow? I don't want to fuck this up either way so I'm willing to wait for as long as you need and in the meantime all I ask is if you let me in, you let me be your friend for now and you can get to know me, I can even help you with your cannabis farm, take it to the next level. I even know the perfect place for it"

She studies me, her eyes were weary

"You actually think I can pull it off? You would actually help me take it to the next level?"

I smile and turn her around so she's looking at the engine that she built
