"He sounds fun. What else have you and Luca bought over the years?"

He sighs sitting back

"Loads actually, he has shares in my business. He is 40% owner and I'm 60%. We bought the racetrack for fun, a house in Barcelona, one in Rio and a snow cabin in aspen. We have bought so many stock cars and have people fix them up so anyone who wants to race can buy or rent them for cheap. We have jet skis and boats and bikes and quads. To be honest anything a big man child would buy we have bought it"

"He's going to miss you"

He sighs

"That's why I'm happy he has you now. You need to be his friend for me. You need to help him through this and if he wants to buy something stupid just go with it. I promise he will make it fun nomatter how stupid it is. He's my dearest friend so I need you to look after him for me"

"Ok"

How do I look after someone when I won't be able to look after myself?

Another tear falls but I push it away and stand up.

"Come on you need to show me the rest of this house"

He smiles and takes my hand. Greg and Susan are crying on the sofa, we walk past them and I push the tears back.

"Your parents will have this room"

He opened up a door to a huge bedroom with a king size bed in the centre, there was a seating area to the side with a tv on the wall. There is a large walk-in and bathroom. He points to the room down the hall from it.

"That one is for Arden and Fay when they come to stay"

I smile to myself. I love how he's included my family. He points to 3 smaller doors on the opposite side then opens the first one

"That is our office"

It was a smaller room with 2 desks at the opposite side of the room. In the middle there was a sofa and a coffee table.

"The other 2 are small bedrooms and this one down here is ours"

He points to the end of the hall where our bags are. He opens the door and I gasp, there is a floor to ceiling blacked out window overlooking the lake opposite the bed. A tv was on a bracket hanging from the roof. It could slide in either direction. It was very cool. The walls were exposed brick, a small seating area sat at the far side with a fireplace and a place for the tv to slide into the spot above it.

He opened the first door and it had a huge bath and shower, the bath sat overlooking the water again and I could tell this place was going to help me relax.

The closet was huge and full of clothes for both me and him I frown and look at him

"When did you do all this?"

He smiled and shrugged

"I own malls, I just had to call my personal shopper and she had great fun filling your closet. Although she insisted on at least a few gowns even if you never wear them"

I chuckled and looked around

"I love this house. I much prefer it over a pack house."

"We do have rooms in the packhouse too but I usually just let visitors stay there. I like the quiet"

Greg called us for lunch so we made our way back to the kitchen, as we entered the front door bust open and a woman around my age with blonde hair with tears streaming down her face burst in crying. She ran straight past me into Arthur's arms. He looked a little shocked and held his arms in the air. Frank ran in after her and sighed

"Tiff give the man a minute to adjust"

I sighed in relief, this was the beta female. She is allowed to hug him even if he looks extremely uncomfortable about the entire thing making me chuckle at his face. Frank pulls her off him and she sobs

"I'm sorry I just found out and I can't believe it"

"It's ok tiff.here, sit down and have lunch with us. This is the Luna aspen"

She wiped her face and gave me an apologetic look, her face probably looked like my own, red and puffy from tears

"Sorry Luna. It was just a shock"

"Please call me aspen. And don't worry I understand. Come sit with us, Greg you and Susan to"

Greg and Susan looked surprised, Arthur smiled at me and nodded for them to sit also. His eyes glaze over then he smiles

"Fred is on his way. Might as well introduce him while we are at it"

I smile and start filling a plate for both me and Arthur and I hand it to Arthur, he rolls his eyes and pulls me onto his knee and kisses my cheek

"I can fill my own plate you know?"

"I know"

I snuggle into his chest and he sighs holding me tight in his big strong arms. Everyone except Frank watch us with interest as I put a piece of pasta into my mouth. We eat in silence but I sigh and put my fork down and look at everyone else.

"Why are you all staring at me like that? I'm not a damn painting you can talk to me instead of staring at me"

Arthur and Frank snorted and laughed. Greg bit his lip and Susan just grinned at me. But tiff was the one to talk

"Sorry it's just weird seeing him so content. He's always so moody and grumpy or drunk"

I chuckle

"Believe me he has nothing on me, he's a little kitten"

"I definitely am, she broke my nose in 2 places"

"Don't pretend you didn't deserve it, 20 minutes after arriving he had his tongue stuck down a shewolfs throat"

"That's because you put up your fancy ass bubble and hide the fact you were my mate"

"Like that makes a difference"

I roll my eyes at him

"Ok maybe I deserved it but I definitely didn't deserve it when your dad broke my nose"

I snorted and laughed at the memory, he tickled me and made me scream and jump

"Arthur stop it or I'll stab you with my fork"

He holds his hands in the air

"If anyone else said that I wouldn't listen but I'll not poke the bear when your concerned"

"And you will do well to remember that"

He pulls me tightly into his chest and he sighs in happiness. I look back at the table and Greg, Susan and tiff are all sitting with their jaws open. Frank snorts and elbows tiff.

"Told you he's different with her"

"I'll say. I like you, you have spunk"

"I like you to although I'd like you all lot more if you would stop looking at me like I'm the 8th wonder of the world"

"Sorry. It's just he might have been a man whore-"

"-Deuce bigalow the male gigolo is so much better don't you think?"

Arthur growls at me and me and the table laughs at him.

"Actually that is much better but even though he was that he never let anyone in his personal space. He was always so guarded and grumpy unless he was racing it's just weird to see him like this"

She waves her hand at him and I'm a little surprised at what she said and honestly a little happy. He might have been a slut but he never let them get close but he was more than willing to let me in from the moment he found out we were mates. I turned and smile at him. He looks like he's afraid of what I'll say to him because of that information. I hold his chin and push it down so we are eye level and I kiss him and pull away quickly.

"Well that's because he's not a fool and he knows a good thing when he's got it, isn't that right baby?"

"Yes Luna that is correct"

He playfully bites at my hand then he kisses me again and I wrap my arms around his neck. He deepens the kiss then pulls back and rests his head against my own.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

I reply then I start eating again. Just as we were about to finish, another man walked in. He was around Arthur's age with brown hair and green eyes he walks over and smiles

"Luna it's nice to meet you I'm Fred the gamma"

I shake his hand

"Nice to meet you, please call me aspen"

"Aspen it is. How are you bro?"

He looks to Arthur, Arthur smiles

"I'm good, is everything ready for tonight?"

"Yes. All is prepared and Luca has been notified. he will be here a little earlier to meet aspen"

He replies to him then he fills his plate full of food and sits beside me. Frank and tiff groan at the mention of Luca, I raise my eyebrow looking them over. Arthur stiffens under me but says nothing, tiff looks at him expectingly like he is meant to say something but he doesn't so she sighs and looks to me.

"Maybe it would be best if you stay away from the likes of him"

Arthur growls at her and she rolls her eyes continuing

"Oh get over it. You just don't like the thought of your best friend looking so guilty, we both know he's a slut so when I said he came onto me I meant it"

Arthur growls again and Frank shakes his head obviously annoyed at her and to be honest I was a little pissed off myself, what does it matter to her who is friends with Arden or me? It's got fuck all to do with her. This is why I never had friends growing up, they were always too bitchy for my liking.

"Don't worry, I usually don't trust someone until my gran gets in their head anyway, she always sees past the opinions and gets straight to the truth, no bullshit just lik how I like it"

Her heartbeat speeds up slightly and I take a bite of food never leaving eye contact, I smile over my fork as I add another piece of pasta to my mouth. I can feel the unease wash over her like a wave on a windy day. She was lying and instead of cursing her I thanked the heaven that I seen this side to her so early on.

"That's a good idea babe, you should definitely get your gran in his head to prove he is trustworthy"

Frank gets up and he looks pissed but I'm not sure who he was pissed at.

"Home now"

He nodded at me and turned walking out, tiff finally tore her eyes from my face and she ran out of there like a bat out of hell trying to catch up with her mate.

"You owe me $20 I told you she was lying"

Fred scoffs at him but pulls out his wallet rolling his eyes.

"Oh please, it's not like it wasn't believable he is a man whore after all"

"Man whore or not he would never touch somonelses mate without permission."

I splutter on my coffee and look at him surprised

"Permission? What does that mean? What does permission mean"

Fred snorts and rolls his eyes as Arthur tried to find the best words to describe his friend.

"Share as in 3sum, it happens love don't be so shocked"

"Shocked? I'm not shocked, just surprised. How many have you had?"

Suddenly intrigued, he shrugs like it means nothing to him, like this is just another day at the office

"To many to count little bird, but that doesn't matter right now because iv got you"

"No I understand that but I want to know, did you do the dirty with your best friend or not"

Fred snorts coffee across the table and laughs so loud and hard I can't help but chuckle to. Arthur looks a little amused at my question

"No I didn't, would it annoy you if I had?"

I snort and shake my head

"Nope, not even a little. 2 good looking men-"

"-how do you know he's good looking?"

I stare of into air as I imagine Arthur and a dude doing the dirty

"Oh he is in my mind"

Fred bursts out laughing again as I think of Arthur naked with a handsome stranger, a little shiver runs up my spine and I shake myself slightly trying to cancel the image out

"Ok that's enough, stop picturing it"

I giggle

"Yeah like that's ever going to happen"

He tickles me and I squeak jumping around his knee

"I said stop"

He playfully snaps at me with his teeth making me giggle harder.

Not long later my parents arrived with Arden and Fay, after showing them to their rooms we decided to take a drive to the new territory to check it out.

It was literally right on the border of the pack surrounded by metal fences. It took about 10 minutes to get to the house and buildings surrounding it.

The house was big but not as big as the one back home and definitely a good place for a school. It had tennis courts, a huge swimming pool inside and outside. Even had enough room for a football field and it already had a basketball court.

"Definitely turning this into a school, small packs from all around could come here on busses"

"I think your right it would be perfect"

Arthur replied to me. We got out of the car and the staff were standing on the steps waiting for us. Fay gets out and shakes their hand and introduces herself.

"This is Aspen, my sister, she is the new owner of this estate. Her and my brother own the territory next door and they will be opening it up and building around here"

"Hang on your supernaturals?"

A red headed man stood forward with a frown. Fay didn't miss a beat and smiled

"We are. But you're free to stay on and work here even after the pack moves in. The house will become a school but you will all keep your jobs and living arrangements if you wish"

"And if we don't wish for that?"

"Then you will receive a large severance package and you can leave"

"Myself and my family will be leaving then. We won't be working for your kind. We will be packed and out of your way within the hour and we will take a check with the money we are owed"

He grabs a woman's arm painfully and yanks her inside. She cried out and me and Fay growled at him

"Don't pull her like that I'm sure she can walk"

The woman looked at me like she was pleading with me. I looked her over and I could see a large bruise on her collarbone. I stepped forward towards her and put my hand out. She took it and I grabbed his arm and heated my hand until he let go with a Yelp and she ran behind me.

"I think she wants to stay but you can be on your way and you will get your check"

"That is my wife"

I turned to her, she looked a little shaken

"You are free to leave whenever you wish but you're also free to stay and will be under my protection. If you want to stay away from him you can"

"I'd like to stay mame"

I nod and smile at her

"Ok you're free to go. She wants to stay and you're fired. You will get your check but you must be gone within the hour or I will have you transported of the territory with no money"

He gritted his teeth and looked his wife over in a murderous manner

"I warned you. You fucked up tess and now you will regret it"

He stormed into the house and she sagged to her knees in relief.

"Thank you"

Is all she said, I helped her back up and she shook herself slightly

"I'm Tess, we run the staff. That's Jake he is gate keeper/gardener/landscaper. This is Terrance, he is head chef. I would personally like to stay"

"I would like to stay too. If your turning this place into a school you will need a cook"

Terrance said smiling

"And I'd be happy to help with any renovations in the future. I'd also like to stay"

"Good. Now that's sorted I will have the contractor come by to start the plans, you will all continue to live here and you will be welcomed into the pack when we are fully integrated. Human or not you will be welcome"

I smiled at Arthur. He was a good alpha, I could see that and his pack were going to miss him. We left soon after that and Arthur showed us around The rest of the territory then we went home to prepare for the party but I could see Arthur was tired

"We did too much today. Are you sure you're up for this?"

"I have waited 10 years for this day and nothing and I mean nothing is going to stop me from having a good time tonight"

I sighed but didn't argue

"Fine but your taking it easy tomorrow"

"I promise love"

"Good"

We got ready to leave but I didn't bother changing and we made our way up to the packhouse, there was a short path through the trees that only took a minute to get there. It looked so far away but the shortcut, cut right through it all.

The packhouse was huge, it was 3 floors and extremely long. Out the side of it had a huge seating area with a roof over it, it had a dance floor and bbqs lined up to one side. Seats and tables sat around the area. The place was starting to fill up and the cooks we're cooking and a bar was being stocked up beside a table with salads and cold foods. Off to the side was a small stage where the ceremony would be held.

"This place is beautiful"

"Do you like it better than our house?"

I frown and shake my head

"No, this is beautiful but our place is amazing. It's like we are the same people, if I would have built my dream house that's what it would be"

He kisses me and I feel him sway slightly on his feet

"Where do we sit you need to rest"

He gives me a sad smile but points to a table at the door of the packhouse. I walk him over and pull out the seat. He sits down and sighs. I look him over worried he was going to drop when he caught my hand

"My knee love"

"But I don't want to hurt you"

"Actually you do the opposite. I feel much better when I hold you"

Well I wasn't going to argue with that. I sat down and poured him a drink of water. I opened the bottle of tequila and took a mouthful and he snatched it off me I threw him a look

"Sharing is caring love"

He winked and took a large mouthful. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a man rush our way and I swear my heart stopped and my panties dropped. I had never in my life seen anything or anyone more sexy in my life. He was extremely well built,Tattoos littered his body, his chest was wide and he was built like a dang train. All muscle and mass. I bet there wasn't even an ounce of fat on his body. My mouth went dry just at the site of the edible masterpiece before me.

His hair was dirty blonde, long and messy on top with shaved sides perfectly blended, his jaw was long and he wore a thick beard all over the bottom half of his face and he pulled it off beautifully. His piercing green eyes were bright and so beautiful. A white T-shirt stretched and strained over his tight ripped body, he paired it with black jeans and doc marten boot. I'm not saying he was better looking then Arthur but damn he was equally beautiful and he was walking this way. I swallowed the dry lump in my throat as he approached.

"Aspen stop it, you can't check out my best friend!"

"Hmmmm?"

I couldn't tear my eyes away from him. Damn why was it suddenly so warm in here, I fanned my face and I heard Arthur chuckle beside me, only then did I realise I was blatantly checking a man out infront of his face, I bite my lip and look at him guilty

"I'm sorry, I just wasn't expecting to ever meet anyone as good looking as you again. Kind of thought you were a one time deal"

I fan my face and he smirks at me looking over my shoulder. I groan, closing my eyes knowing i've been caught. Stupid big fat mouth. I slowly turn around and look up at him, he is wearing the cheesiest grin i've ever seen flashing me with his perfectly straight pearly white teeth, so straight and in order, his nose was short but not to short, it levelled out his features well.

"See something you like?"

Bright red. Bright fucking red. I facepalm, ignoring his hand and turning towards a very amused Arthur.

"Told you that mouth would get you in trouble some day"

"Yeah yeah, whatever you say"

I snap back, Arthur and the man laugh at me and the man talks
