Narutos pov
I woke up to the sound of crying. I looked around in confusion. I could hear everyone snoring around me. We just passed a mission and were planning on going back tomorrow so who the hecks crying!
I peaked out to see hinata sitting on the porch crying. My eyes widened. Why is she crying?
"hinata are you ok?" I asked softly, making her jump.
"oh I'm sorry naruto did I wake you?" hinata asked looking guilty.
"hey don't worry about that" I said gently as I took a seat next to her "tell me what's wrong"
She sighed "I just feel so useless. I wanted to help you all but I only ended up being a burden to you all. I'm so sorry naruto"
I reached out and wiped her tears away "hinata your not useless. You always try your best and you've given me the courage time and time again. Please don't feel bad about the mission not going well. Just be happy that we all got through this alive"
She smiled and nodded "thank you naruto. You always know what to say"
She lay her head on my shoulder. I was surprised but didn't move. I figured she was tired anyway.
We looked up at the stars as we slowly fell asleep.
