Chapter 1: betrayal.

Monday

Early morning
Aishi home

"Oh? What is it, Aishi-san?" I sigh and lean back on my chair, crossing my arms and looking her straight in the eyes. "It's about the boy from class 3-2. The same boy you have been close to lately, or should I say been crushing on." Her eyes widened as her face got covered by a bright pink blush.

This girl… she's not different from the other girls, I'd say she's too ordinary compared to the others. And that's just what I need; If she's naive enough I can convince her to stay away from my senpai. Normally, I'd just bash her head in so that this can be over with. Considering the fact that I'm too fed up about everything now. I mean, I've been doing this for the past 12 weeks and I still haven't made any progress. But I can't; Cameras are around the school. The photography club has been keeping an eye on me lately, and so is the student council. Not only that but there's already rumors going around that the student council president is going to install metal detectors soon.

"E-eh..? You know that!? Ugh.... Was it really that obvious? This is so embarrassing!" Looking away and covering her blushing face, she replied to me. "yes. I'll get to the point. I wanted to talk to you about him because.. well, I really like him." Suddenly, her eyes widened as she snapped out of her blushing state and looked at me with a horrified expression, as if the one thing she never wanted to happen just happened in front of her. "o-oh? You like him?" She asked, keeping her voice quiet. I nod. "yes... And I want you to give me a chance on him. I know you won't let go of him so easily. And this is a selfish thing to ask. But I'm willing to do anything for him. Please.. let me try and win his heart.." I try to sound as nice as possible.

She sighed as she hesitantly spoke up. "i-i usually wouldn't agree on things like this but... After all the things you did for me, I can't disappoint you now. Okay, I will stay away from him and... give you a chance on him. Thank you again!" She looked down as she spoke. It was like she didn't want to face me as she said that.

A sigh of relief escaped my lips. "Thank you." I say, smiling softly. The same smile I use everyday. The same smile I give everyone. The same smile I use to cover up my empty personality. "But take good care of him okay!? Don't hurt his feelings!" She shouted and pointed at me. Osana wannabe. "Don't worry, I won't."

Akademi Academy
Ayano's POV

While walking through the halls of Akademi, a certain girl caught my attention. She was blushing really hard, if you compare her face with a tomato you won't tell the difference. I noticed that she was writing something on a pink piece of paper. After a while she suddenly went to MY SENPAI'S LOCKER!?

'What is this girl doing!?' She put the piece of paper on Senpai's locker. 'What in the world!? I thought she said she would stay away from senpai!?'

I was about to go to my senpapi's locker and take the note before he sees it but when I was on my way, senpai was already running towards his locker. Then he notices the note. I can probably snatch the note but that would be too risky! He might hate me and think I'm a weirdo! Oh god.. Who knows what's written in that note!? "Hm... Maybe I should meet them..." He muttered under his breath, looking at the piece of pink paper. 'meet!? Where!?' I screamed to myself mentally.

Senpai then began to walk, I hurriedly followed him. Feeling my heart beat faster than normal. Seconds of walking felt like hours of endless walking. Not knowing what's about to happen. Then, we reached the big Cherry tree behind the school.

There's a myth in the school that when you confess under that tree, the person you've confessed to cannot refuse. It's the ideal and "best" place to confess in the school.

"This little brat tricked me." I whispered, looking to the ground with my fist clenched. I couldn't move where I was. I was just standing there, frozen in the air, watching them talk. While I kept praying that he wouldn't accept her feelings... She doesn't deserve him... He only belongs to me...  Me.. me.. me..

...

*Small gasp*

My worry quickly turned into sadness.. rage.. He accepted the letter... He hugged her... HE KISSED HER... 'NO, NO, NO, NO!.' this can't be happening no way... I'm gonna kill her... I JUST WANNA KILL HER AND CHOP HER BODY TO PIECES!!! THIS! T-THIS! This can't happen! No! I need him! I can't let this happen! I-i!

"AHHHHH!!!!"

I screamed loudly and fell on the floor. A watery Liquid was falling from my eyes, It was like the world around me stopped. Everything was black. I was in an endless void of darkness. No one except for me.

Snap.

Just then, the world came back to life. The endless void of darkness disappeared. The voices in my head remained quiet. And..

"What a weirdo, come-on *Redacted* Let's go..." Senpai muttered with the look of concern on his face. He then pulled her away. "Hah...hahahaha.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! A WEIRDO!? WEIRDO!????" HAHAHAHHA!!" as if I wasn't laughing in the first place, i shut mouth and stumbled to get up.

Why? Why am I crying? How am I crying?... I.. I hate this. I hate the feeling of being sad. I hate how I have to cry and cry whenever I feel sad. Why is this happening? I stumbled my way to the school building.

The emotionless girl just cried in the third floor girls bathroom non-stop. Curled up on the floor, sobbing endlessly. She looked so pathetic and weak right now. Her eyes were sore, her breathing was ragged. It felt like if you talked to her she'll stutter and murmur but every try she does she won't be able to let out a single word. Her mind is full of questions.

After she heard the school bell ring, she just wiped her tears and tried to go home. But tears kept falling from her eyes as she walked. She didn't care how the students were looking at her when she cried. She didn't bother to look anyone in the eye.

Home.

Ayano, not even bothering to change in her pj's just dropped her body on her bed and cried while hugging her pillow.
