Chapter 4:Osana

Class time
8:56am Monday
Ayano's POV

I am currently listening to the teacher in class and taking my notes, when someone tapped my shoulder followed by a whisper. "hey yan-chan." - "Huh-?" I look over to my shoulder, it was Osana; apparently Raibaru and her switched seats. "Hey, isnt Raibaru supposed to-" she crossed her arms and scoffed. "aren't you gonna ask why I'm talking to you?" Oh.

"Yes what do you need osana?" I ask politely as I turn my gaze back to my notes. "Oh~ nothing, I just wanna ask if you're free after school? Let's walk home together." She asked, a visible smile was planted on her face. "Uhm.. sure?" suddenly her cheeks turn bright pink as she looked at me angrily. "Hmp! its not like I WANTED to walk with you! I usually walk with taro! But he has a girlfriend now it would be weird if he walks home with another girl! And plus... It's not like he talks to me anymore. Ever since he got that girlfriend of his he started to grow distant towards me." She said, mumbling the last part. "Why don't you walk with Raibaru then?" I say in annoyance. She then suddenly elbowed me. "ow!" - "That's rude! Hmp!" Why is she acting like she's not rude everytime?

And That speech wasn't really needed I didn't even say that she liked walking home with me. But I guess that's just how osana is.. "sure Osana. Let's walk home together. But let's focus on the lesson for now. Let's just meet at the school gates later okay?" I say to stop the conversation. Im not really feeling like socializing today. After what happened on Friday.  "Yeah, before the teacher sees us and starts an hour lecture..." She mumbled through a chuckle.

Time skip...
Still Ayano's POV
After school.

As I walk out of the school building, I heard a faint shouting. As I walked over more, the shouting became clear. "Yan-chan!! Over hereeeee!!" It was Osana. Calling out to me and waving her arms in the air not caring how other people was looking at her. She really waited for me huh? I thought she'd grow tired and just walk home alone. I purposefully walked around the school until no more students were in sight. I didn't really want to walk home with Osana. I sighed and gave her a friendly smile before waving back and walking towards her.

"Grrr, I've been waiting for so long! Where were you!?" She yelled in my face, pointing at me with one hand and the other placed on her hips. "Sorry, I was taking notes I forgot to take earlier in class." I made up an excuse, but in reality I was really hoping shed ditch me and just go home with Raibaru. "Hmp. Whatever, whatever... Let's just go!" She scoffed. "Okay.."

Osana's house
6:07pm
STILL Ayano's POV

"This is my house yan-chan you can go now.."

"wow, your house is bigger than I thought.." She glared at me. "AND WHATS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!?" I let out a little chuckle. "nothing nothing. But take it as a compliment."

"You-" she elbowed me again. "hey! That's the second time you did that! It hurts you know!"

"Hmph! Whatever!." I sighed. "I'll be going now osana-chan. Have a good evening." I was about to walk away when I felt a hand hold mine.

"Eh?" I mumble "hey yan-chan?.." she talks in a soft and shy voice. "hm? is there anything you need osana?" I ask her. She looks at me while blushing. "Haha.. there's nothing actually... Uhm.. Raibaru will be leaving with her parents to go to New York tomorrow and she won't be back after 2 weeks so... I have no-one to walk to school or walk home to.. taro has his girlfriend now and so... Uhm..." I nodded and patiently waited for her to finish her sentence. "Hm?.."

"I-i was wondering if you would wanna walk with me everyday so.. I don't feel lonely..?" She paused for a few moments before continuing "B-but not literally everyday! I-ill stop bothering you when Raibaru's finally home!" I stare at her. I guess I'll walk home with her. I mean I always walk home alone too so... "Sure. It will be great to have company." Her eyes lights up as she sighed in relief. "ohhhhh! thank you yan-chan!!" Then she hugged me, I'll just make myself think that was because she was excited and relieved. "uh Osana?" Suddenly her hug loosened. "sorry! I was just happy that you agreed honestly I don't know why I'm so happy but I guess I just am HAHA!" She let out a nervous laugh before letting go.

"well okay, whatever you say Osana. But I better go home soon it's getting dark. You should go inside too maybe your mom is waiting for you."

"Oh yeah! Well bye yan-chan see you tomorrow!"

"See you.."

I waved goodbye and made my way to my home. I don't know why but.. as I'm walking home I was thinking of Osana.
