Chapter 12: The council's

Ayano's POV

I hurriedly walked out the school building; and when I was out I started running to the gate. it was already closed since there's no more students going out so I had to use the small door-like gate but when I finally got out Osana was no where to be seen. I instantly felt bad. What if she waited for so long for me but I never showed up? I should have told her that I was going to go home late! God, I'm getting so guilty. This is the last time I'm going to be able to walk with her after and before school yet I missed my chance.

"I.. better go home." I mutter as I take out my phone and text Osana an apology.

Ayano: hey Osana, I wanted to say sorry for not walking home with you today, me and the president and the counselor had to talk. I got applied for student council. I hope you understand. (Recent)

Ayano: hey!! IM REALLY REALLY SORRY! if it makes you feel better I'll visit you at your house? (Just Now)

What is this feeling? Why am I worried? She's probably okay.

Ding

I hear a notification from my phone. I quickly check it. "It's fine. I understand." A text message from Osana read. Oh thank god.

I talked with Osana over text the whole night. She said she forgave me. And her texts seem like she was doing okay, but I still feel this odd feeling that she's bothered by something.

Friday
4:07am

I wake up from my alarm. Ugh... Huh? It's still so early why is it ringing? I slam it turning it off. Then went to sleep again.

"AH SHOOT I FORGOT I HAD TO GO EARLY TO SCHOOL!" I yell getting up from my bed. I run to the bathroom to quickly wash my hair. After I wash it I brush my teeth and hair. Then I run to my closet and change to my uniform. I pull out long black stockings and wear them aswell. Then I slid my phone and power-bank to my bag and run downstairs to eat. I prepare toast with jam for breakfast and pack my leftovers last night for my lunch. I put it inside my bag then goes to my door trying to wear my black doll shoes with the toast in my mouth. I exit my house making sure to lock it and running to the school which is a few blocks away.

Once I finally made it to the gates, I pant. All that running made my body tired. I guess my body still functions normally even if I don't feel it. I open the door like gate and went inside the school. I changed my shoes to my "inside school" ones then goes to my classroom to put my bag in my chair. After doing that I made my way to the student council room.

As I arrive I peak at the door. Megami looks at me then smiles; she gestures for me to come in and I did. "You sure did take your time huh?" Said by Aoi the blue haired girl to me coldly. I can feel her death stare. I flash a fake but convincing smile and talked in a sweet voice. "I'm sorry, did I take too long?" Aoi rolls her eyes and before she said something Megami spoke up " Not at all Aishi! Infact you were quite early. Shiromi and Akane is still not here. For the meantime while we wait for them here take your student council uniform and try it on the changing room." She said. "Okay miss!" I say keeping my fake cheery voice. I make my way to the exit and once I got out of the council's room I drop my smile. If I'm going to have to fake being happy all over again it's better to just die.
