The plane ride was long and dreary, an annoying American kid wouldn't quite kicking the back of my seat and I had to go all boa constrictor on my neck rest to stop myself from hitting the little twerp. Harsh I know but you'd know what I mean after a eleven-ish hour flight of

Anyway, Ford and I are currently waiting for Bonnie to pick us up. Bonnie actually isn't Irish, she was born in raised in Hollywood, but she took a gap year after high school and came to Ireland where she met Ford and ended up skipping College and staying with us. At first I hated her because of how much attention Ford was giving her but over time, she became to be my best friend.
"Hey Ford?" I said, turning my head up from the concrete, after a while of no reply I noticed headphones in his ears, "never mind then"
Eventually Bonnie did turn up and I had to witness a gross 'hello' between her and Ford which involved about two syllables and a whole lot of making out.
"Oi! You realise were are in public and there is a minor present" I laughed, holding back a gag, the two pulled back and Bonnie laughed and hugged me
"I missed you sweetie" she smiled into my brown hair
"You've been away for a week. Damn I didn't realise I was that awesome" I chuckled, flicking my hair over my shoulder dramatically
"Well done Bon, you've fluffed up her ego" Ford sighed while putting the bags in the trunk of the Jeep and climbing in the drivers seat. Bonnie and I giggled and climb in to. The drive to the beach house where I was going to stay could only be described in one word
Wow.
California was absolutely beautiful. It seemed like the future compared to my old town.
After about twenty minutes of Bonnie and I singing rather badly to Taylor Swift songs we pulled up to a classic-looking beach house. It looked quite a bit like the one from 'Two and a Half Men' It was painted a creamy white and had a palm tree springing from the front yard. I raced inside, leaving behind my suitcases. I was greeted by the lounge room first that had a white fireplace on the far wall with a flat screen towering above, couches surrounding the floor space and clear doors that look out onto the beach.
Bonnie and Ford came in a few seconds later with all the bags and placed them on the polished wooden floor
"Gee, thanks for the help" Ford exclaimed sarcastically, cracking his back, ignoring his comment I raced up the stairs with my three suitcases in hand and heard Ford tell me the direction of my room. Walking into a room that was probably the size of three rooms in my old house joined together. The walls were a pale blue and clear doors lead out onto a patio with a clear view of one half of the beach and a boardwalk that seemed to have shops lined up and down it, A large wardrobe was built into one wall and had mirrors on the doors and a bathroom door was next to it. Without hesitation I opened my bags and frantically searched for my bikini and a pair of scruffy denim, high-waisted shorts. Throwing them on in a excited manor I raced back down the stairs to see Bonnie and Ford at it again
"Gross" I gagged reaching for the door handle
"Wait!" Bonnie ordered, pulling away from Ford "I spoke with the owner of a little cafe called 'Petit déjeuner sur la plage' and they've offered you a job. I sorted everything out, you have to get a uniform tonight and your first shift starts today at five"
"But I just got here! Why do I have to work today" I whined, stomping my feet like a child
"Because you need to help with the payments. You have at least an hour until you actually have to be there. Have fun, don't get raped" she smiled, going back to Ford. I groaned and slumped out the door.
