The Princess' Knight

Chapter 2

For the past three years, Octavia and her family return to Loo Loo Land for family fun. Whenever Octavia is allowed to go off by herself, she instantly goes to the tent where Blitz works and they spend time together. Blitz entertains her with his jokes and his performances. Blitz also makes time during his breaks to have lunch or snacks, or even play a few games with Octavia at the game booths.

One day, Octavia who is now nine years old, and her father are at Loo Loo Land. Octavia holds her father's hand as they both walk into the park together. Well, more like Octavia is practically dragging her dad arm to get there quickly.

"Come on dad, let's hurry," Octavia says, acting like she's in a hurry.

Octavia's father, Stolas chuckles and says, "Okay Via. You sure are in a hurry today."

Octavia stops and turns to her dad, "Sorry dad, but I do like us to have some fun, and I like to see my friend who still works here."

"I'm sure he's doing fine, darling. There's no need to rush, we have the whole day to visit him," Stolas says.

"I know," Octavia says.

Then holds her backpack, "And I um, I also got a present for him. Do you think he'll like it?"

"I'm sure he'll like it, Via. For now, let's go have some fun. Just the two of us, okay," Stolas says with a smile.

Octavia smiles and says, "Okay."

Octavia then puts her backpack back on and she goes off to the park with her father. Unknown to the father and daughter, a group of Imps are secretly spying on them, specifically five different Imps, and all of them seem to be male. One of them is holding a sack, and some are holding weapons.

The imp with the scar on his left eye whispers, "That's them. Prince Stolas and his little brat."

The chubby Imp asks, "So is the little owl girl the target?"

"Yes. She's the target we're supposed to kidnap for our client," The Imp with the scar says.

Then the short Imp asks, "Why does he want the kid?"

"That information isn't important, dumbass. What is important is that we get that kid while that prince isn't around and leave this note for him to see," The Imp with the scar says, holding the note.

He shows an evil grin and says, "If we pull this off, we'll be paid a big amount of money for this heist."

The Imp with the long white hair says, "We should get going. They're on the move."

With that, the group of Imps hurry over to follow the two owl demons to kidnap Octavia. Over time, Octavia and her father have some fun together. They've gone on rides, played some games, and also looked around some of the booths and other attractions. Of course, Octavia makes her tell her dad to stay clear of Robotic Fizzarolli's circus tent. So instead, they walk in front of the tent that blitz works at.

Stolas kneels down to Octavia and says, "Now then, I hope you have fun with your friend, and all go get us something to eat."

"Okay dad," Octavia says.

Then says, "And let your friend know I said hi."

"I will," Octavia happily says.

Octavia then walks into the tent as her father heads off to get himself and Octavia some lunch. Unknown to them, the group of Imps peek out from the tent to see the little owlet happily hurrying inside the tent.

Inside the tent, Octavia happily walks inside the tent to see Blitz is practicing his juggling and thinking of his jokes. He soon notices Octavia walking towards the stage.
