I wake up to yet another sunny morning. I had my breakfast and got ready to go out.

"Phil?" I yell, "I'm going out!"

"...For a run?" Phil asks, yawning loudly.

"Just thought I'd go to Hyde Park to get some fresh air," I reply. He nods and instructs me to take off my jumper so he can check my cuts. As soon as he'd finished he hugged me tight.

"You're getting better," he squealed happily.

"Yeah, I guess so," I smiled back at him.

I walked into Hyde Park which was quite a distance from our apartment. I sat down on a bench and put my black Beats headphones on. I could happily sit here and people-watch all day.

In the distance, I see a short-ish girl with bright turquoise hair walking along the path.

"What'chya listening to?" I hear a man a few years younger than me shout at her from the trees.

"One Direction?" I hear his friend laugh.

Assholes, I think to myself.

"Muse, bitch!" she yells back nonchalantly.

I smirk at her response. I haven't met many girls that like Muse.
I take my phone out of my pocket and find my current go-to playlist. I unconsciously begin to move my head to I Don't Love You by MCR.

The girl sits down beside me and I take off my headphones. She does the same.

"I like your headphones," she says. I look over at her and realise we have the exact same pair.

"I like yours too," I laugh.

"What were you listening to?" She smiles up at me.

"My Chemical Romance," I grin.

"That's so cool!" she smirks. "They're one of my favourites."

"Me too," I say. "I'm Dan, by the way."

"I'm Elle," she replies, still smiling. She's probably the prettiest girl I've ever seen, and she has an amazing taste in music too.

"I've been meaning to tweet you, actually," she says, a little bit embarrassed. Great. She knows who I am.

"Oh, really?" I ask.

"Yeah. I've come up with a video I think you'd be perfect for," she says, blushing. Why would she be asking me to make a video with her? She pushed back her hair and I saw strawberry blonde roots starting to grow in.

"Oh, yeah! Sorry I didn't recognise you with the blue hair," I laugh. Elle. From YouTube. "Congrats on the four million!"

"Thanks," She giggles. "You probably thought I was a crazy fangirl or something!"

"Pretty much," I smile. She laughs.

"Anyway, I was thinking of doing a video about music taste stereotypes, and I'd love if you'd collaborate with me," she says. We chat for a while about music and YouTube, before I say I better get back to make sure Phil hasn't burnt the house down.

"I'll walk with you- I'm going past your place anyway," she smiles, brushing her long, wavy turquoise hair back off her face.

"Sure," I say, playing with my sleeves.

-

As we walk through London, Elle and I get few people asking for pictures.

"Tumblr will be mental tomorrow," Elle whispers to me, her muted Irish accent showing through. I chuckle.

"How long have you lived in London?" I ask.

"I went to uni here, and then I worked in my dads London office for a while before my music and YouTube took off," she says blushing. "I have such a weird accent, I know." I laugh back at her.

"It's cute," I say, blushing too.

"It's so stupid!" Elle giggles. "An insane mix of Irish and English."

"You wouldn't notice the Irish anymore," I smile, still blushing. "What did you do in uni?"

"Law," she answers honestly.

"Same!" I grin. "Though I never really finished..."

"The final year sucks," she laughs. "Too many exams, and too many heavy textbooks."

The sun suddenly went behind a cloud, and the inevitable sun shower started.
