II. Spying

Harper was sitting in class behind a girl she started having a conversation with, She soon learned her name was Hayden

Then Liam and Mason walk in, Mason sat next to Harper and Liam was about to sit down until he saw who he was sitting next to

"Great" Liam said as he looked around for around for another seat

"Liam" Mr. Yukimura said "you're not just gonna stand there are you?"

"Maybe" Liam said shaking his head

"The whole semester?"

"Maybe"

"Liam have a seat" and Liam sat down then he looked down at the bottom of his pants then looked at Hayden and Harper snorted

"All right, welcome to History 103" after class Liam rushed of with Mason and Harper started packing up

"Hey Harper" Hayden said to her and she hummed in response "Wanna hangout or something later"

"Sure!" Harper replied and gave Hayden her number and walked out of class

"Harper c'mon you're coming with me and Liam to investigate Theo" Stiles said dragging her away from some boys she was talking to

They got into Stiles's jeep and Harper called shotgun

"What's a criminal tremor?" Liam asked Stiles

"It doesn't matter" Stiles said as he pulled out of the parking lot, and they went to Theo's house They watched Theo play video games for hours until he finally left his house "I told you he's up to something"

"We just spent three hours watching him play video games in his bedroom he better be out here covering up mass murder" Harper sneered

"Lets find out" Stiles said as they walked into the preserve "Do you still have his scent?" Stiles asked them both

"Don't need it" Liam said looking around

"What's wrong?" Stiles asked

"I forgot I was supposed to meet Mason at the school gym"

"Okay, why don't you just tell him" Harper asked him

"Tell him what?"

"Anything?"

"I can't just tell him anything" Liam defended

Harper looked at him "And why not?" she said with crossed arms

"Because I haven't told him everything"

"Still? We said it was okay" Stiles told him

"Its a lot to accept" Liam said

"He watched my dad blow up a Berserker with a land mine I think the groundwork's been pretty thoroughly laid for acceptance, Scott and I have been through this okay? More than once it's always better when they know"

"But what if he freaks out? what if he tried to stab me with something silver? or what if-" But Liam was cut off when he fell inside a hole and grabbed Harpers had and pulled her down with him

"What the hell are you two doing?" Stiles asked as he leaned over and peeked into the hole then they heard footsteps "There he is, hurry up stop screwing around" and they got out of the hole "Try to get a scent" Stiles told them "You guys get anything?"

"Soap, it's nice he smells good" Harper said her face softening and Liam looked at her with a glare

"Not his soap! his emotional state, chemo signals, remember?"
