Xiao's voice sounded from the top balcony of Wangshu Inn. His arms were crossed over his built chest as he awaited your response, but you dare didn't say a word, only sparing a little glance.

Xiao locked eyes with yours, staring back, until he gave up and focused on the horizon in front of you both. He portrayed that of an angel; pale delicate skin, glowing mint-green tattoos designed on his arm, his golden eyes. It was all perfect, he was perfect. You couldn't help but continue to admire, he noticed this, and exhaled.

He thought you were disappointed the day he told you he wouldn't attend this year's Lantern Rite in Liyue, but you didn't give a care, all you wanted was to be content, for him to be content. Your legs dangled on the rooftop, ushering the adeptus to come and sit.

Xiao wasn't willing, but caught sight of the hope in your eyes. He had gotten with such a beautiful girl, what did he do to deserve you? He leaped over the railing, landing carefully and seating himself. In the midst of doing so, his hand brushed over yours as an accident. The brief feeling... it felt so lovely for some reason.

No words were shared, your hand moved from the previous position it was in, making its way onto his thigh. You manoeuvred your body closer, snaking your hand into his. The sudden warmth made his body tense up, contact was not something that happened a lot between you and the adeptus, but he cherished every moment he got to touch you.

"Xiao, I think it's starting soon." Now leaning against him, his eyes didn't leave your figure, his eyes didn't pull away this time, but why? Xiao was enchanted by you, you were like a drug, something intoxicating that he wanted more of.

Xiao's heart was mildly pounding against his rib cage, was this really happening? He had been staring for longer than anticipated, as you palmed his cheek, brushing your thumb over it like a fragile porcelain doll. Another hand wandered up to trace over his tattoos, you knew them like the back of your hand. Your gentle touch... it soothed him, he may not admit such things, but it really did.

Swiftly bringing his pretty face to yours, smooth lips ghosted over his, he soon accepted your bold actions, parting his soft lips and allowing your tongue to slip inside. A desired kiss you both didn't know you needed, whilst Liyue's fireworks ignited, blossoms of various colours and explosions painting the night's sky. It was the same feeling as drowning in a wave of euphoria and pure bliss, a kiss was all you needed.
