The traveler was a wondering soul in Teyvat, in search of something, or someone. In search of a source of light, or a source of contentment. Had he already found it, though? The person, who rested in his arms, was that his answer?

"Thinking about something, Aether?"

Aether, he hadn't heard that name since, forever, it felt like. He only knew the name Traveler, the wanderer who runs everyone's errands without a break. The traveler searched and searched, by the end of completing a task for someone, he'd ask them if they'd seen his sister, but to no avail.

Aether was over exerting himself, you noticed that, like the tired glint in his eyes when someone basically asked him to save a whole nation.

"It's unhealthy to be so stressed, Aether. Which is why I'm asking you to take a break from reality's problems."

Aether looked at you wide-eyed, a gust of wind blowing his golden-blond braid, also messing with the loose hairs at the front that framed his face perfectly. Perhaps you were his answer, you were in fact, his source of light.

He calls your name softly, as a way to draw your eyes back to him. "Just, spare me a glance, Y/N."

It's a simple request he wanted, you understood its purpose, shifting your gaze in his direction.

You remained in silence, letting him study your features and your flaws, he only wanted to get a better look at you, the person he fell into a deep haze of love with. Aether locks his hands with yours, desperately, to make sure you're safe - like you'd wither away into nothing all of a sudden.

"Let me hear your voice.."

He wanted nothing more than that, and so you complied with his wish, beginning to chat away about the future you and him will have together, all the possibilities and chances that could rise for the pair of you. "—And, once we find your sister, everything will be over, I hope."

Aether was busying himself with your soothing voice and stargazing, there were too many shining orbs in Teyvat's night sky to count. A hand made its way up his neck, and eventually touched his cheek. He leaned into this contact that came from you, cherishing your little laugh that erupted from your lips.

"Time kinda flies when I'm with you. It's already midnight." You pointed out with an exhale, he analysed the moon that shone down onto your bodies pressed together. It made his skin glow with ease, he was an angel in your presence. Aether had no concerns at the moment to bother his mind, his grip on your hand tightened, pulling your body closer for warmth.

Aether softens, he was tired, but you were here with him, he needed to make the most out of that. A tender kiss was placed inside the palm of his hand, it's one of the few reassurances he has, that you truly, and will always love him.
