I could not be happier to be doing stories based on the Netflix phenomenon- Stranger Things, it is a real challenge but I enjoy every minute of it! I love Stranger Things including my own ST series. These words are written from my heart; I am beyond grateful for all the support and love for my first book STS3! Thank You so much, it means the world to me that you enjoyed it as much as the TV show!!!!!♥ Now here is the anticipated sequel:
My STS4 is a very challenging and emotional story compared to my first one-which was mostly full of change and light-hearted moments. My sequel is like a journey, one which I am currently on; going through some very hard new things in my life that is almost frightening and eye-opening at the same time. I know it can be very daunting to try and find the positives in things when there is so much negativity in the world (hoping things do indeed get better). What you can expect from STS4 is; that it has 11 chapters in this intense penultimate story, so many high stakes, it is pretty twisty-turning; all the main characters are dealing with some type of mayhem?! There is also more of an ambitious feel to it plus many other Aussie references if you can pick them...
Once again, My 'Dream Cast' are new or old characters portrayed by huge celebrities - (you're welcome world) because it makes the experience memorable to imagine them in these different scenarios. It just makes me love every single character a lot more as well as their actors! The music is another element I continue to use and love, they're some of my favourite hits from the '80s and modern-day times with a retro feel to them! I am always so curious to see if there are any similarities between the actual TV show and mine. I believe Stranger Things is all about 'interpretation and perspective' it just depends on how you see the story going forward based on what you hope to see or not see and that's what makes this whole fanfiction experience of being a writer so epic! My STS4 doesn't necessarily follow the same timeline as the fourth season, it is mainly inspired by the third season and still relates to the first two seasons.
My STS4 deals with the following themes: isolation, depression, anxiety, fears, pain, growth, self-esteem, trust, deception, friendship, hope, loss and love. I hope this special story helps you to understand the messages that we are all different, but all living the same life and that there are still one-of-a-kind beautiful moments in between the horrible experiences. YOU ARE ENOUGH.
The world isn't perfect, but that doesn't mean that your life isn't. We are all different. Not every one of us is the same, we all have different ideas and beliefs about the way things work, which is why the world is so diverse. It's how we deal with differences in the world that makes us find out our potential... or not and get to meet new people. Even though everyone is different, you should know who you are as yourself. ♥️
I might be dreaming a bit big for this last part but it would really put the cherry on top of the Scoops Ahoy ice-cream waffle cone for me if my 'Dream Cast' or the Duffer Brothers admired my work, that would honestly be the most amazing, strangest thing ever!🤗
