Operation Convince Mayra

It was the end of the day. It was finally the beginning of the weekend and all I could think about was the winter ball was almost here. Brenda and I decided to go to the mall and get our dresses. I wanted a galaxy dress while Brenda wanted a simple red dress. As we arrived to the mall we instantly went in the first dress shop that we saw which was Basic. As we entered Brenda instantly found her beautiful red dress and instantly looked for her size and went to try it on. As she tried it on she called me over to see how it looked on her. As I saw her I said "Damn Brenda your date is going to be speechless when he sees you. " "really you think he'll like it?" she asked "yeah you look very pretty now go change back to your clothes and buy the dress and help me find my dress" I responded. "ok ok".

As she finished paying for her dress i kept looking for my galaxy colored dress. Brenda walked over with a bag that she got for her dress and asked me "did You find your dress" i responded "no" " well maybe its at another store, lets go to macys"

We got to macys and instantly went to the dress section of the store. Brenda and I decided to go in different directions to look for the dress faster. I went to the left and she went to the right.

When Brenda started to walk to the right she yelled "found it!" i rushed over and there it was the dress that I was looking for. It looked so beautiful. I looked for my size grabbed the dress and went into the fitting rooms to try it on. I then called Brenda to see how it looked at me. when she got there she had a surprised/shocked face i then asked "whats wrong does it look wrong on me or something" "no it looks amazing your date is going to love it on you" she responded "I hope so." We then walked out and headed to the food court to get something to eat.

As we got down to the food court we ran into Mayra and Aaron. As we waved at them and we began walking over to them Brenda gave me the look that it was time for Operation convince Mayra.

As we approached them we said hi and then started walking to an empty table to talk. As we were about to start a conversation and try to bring up the dance the lady called us for our order and Brenda said "i'll get it just save me a seat" I said ok and we approached the empty table and we sat. we had an awkward silence at first then Brenda finally came and I was happy because I knew Brenda would get the conversation started.

As Brenda sat down and grabbed her food she looked over at Mayra and said "Hey guys funny running into you guys. Are you guy getting things for the winter ball" Mayra instantly gave a glare at Aaron and said "Yeah and no we just wanted to chill and get our minds out of school" I then said "So you guys aren't going to the dance?" Mayra replied "Well were not sure yet we haven't really decided but I don't think we are going" "What no you guys have to go all of us are going we even convinced Diana and zack to go, now we just need you guys" Brenda said hoping Mayra will change her mind.

As we waited for Mayra's answer Aaron got a text message and Mayra turned to him and asked "Who texted?" He responded "My mom she wants me to get something from the grocery store. You want me drop you off at your place?" Mayra replied "Oh ok and no its fine ill hang out with Brenda and Analleli" Aaron said ok and gave Mayra a kiss goodbye then left.

As we saw Aaron leave the mall Brenda instantly turned to Mayra and said "Come on Mayra you have to go to the winter ball it will be fun and all four of us will be able to hang out again since all our dates are friends." Mayra then said "Idk it does seem fun, wait you guys have dates?" "yeah we asked Adam and Jack since the theme is sadies" I replied "Aaawww how cute, well know i do want to go to see you guys with your dates" "so is that a yes to going to the winter ball?" Brenda asked "yes" She responded and Brenda and I screamed in excitement.

"your definetly going to do a poster or something asking Aaron to the winter ball" I said "Well idk i kinda do but i dont know what to do" She replied. Brenda Gave me a glance and we both said "We got the perfect thing" "what is it" she asked "Well you can do a scavenger hunt with a letter in each clue or you can have his friends write out sadies on their shirts" "I like the second one better so much easier but you guys are helping me" We all laughed and Brenda and i agreed to help her out
