Underdog Day Afternoon
I woke up feeling nice and refreshed, no interruptions from the boys it was perfect.
Everyone in the room was already gone so I got up took a shower the shower lasted about 30 minutes before my hands started to get wrinkly so I stepped out drying myself off and throwing my hair into a braid. I got changed into grey loose shorts and a purple t shirt.
It was about 10 when I finally left the room. I walked out and noticed everyone was outside by the pool.
Johnny noticed me and walked inside to come sit with me. I hopped up on the counter and he came in front of me. He looked good he didn't have a shirt on and his hair was wet from the water."Hey Bananas".
"Hi Katy, how'd you sleep"
" I slept good what about you, you're up unusually early?"
"Yeah I just woke up and decided to get up". "Oh before I forget Wes made everyone breakfast and I saved you some" "I didn't know exactly what you wanted" he said as he scratched the back of his head. "So I got you a bit of everything" he grabbed two plates from the microwave that had a large assortment of food like pancakes, eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, French toast and fruit.
"Oh my god bananas stop you're so sweet" I was smiling so hard right now. I hopped off the counter and walked over to Johnny he was a little caught off guard as I wrapped my arms around his neck and he took a minute before he wrapped his arms around my waist.
We stayed like that for about two minutes missing the jealous glances of one certain male from the outside looking in.
Ct walked away before they could notice him he carried a frown on his face as he went and laid back on the chair next to Mandi. She tried to ask what happened but he just ignored her further.
As we pulled away both of us were slightly flustered not that the either noticed but it was true.
I turned and offered johnny a piece of bacon because I remembered how he used to steal the bacon from my plate in our previous season. He smiled "for old time sake" I laughed. He took the piece immediately before letting out a small chuckle.
He sat with me till I finished eating "Johnny?" He perked up.
"Hm?"
"Thank you really, this means a lot I hope you know that". Even if it was the smallest gesture it was so considerate and thoughtful that its not something I could ever really forget.
"Of course" he smiled. His smile was so sweet and it's not something you see too often I mean sure you see a cocky grin a lot but not an actual genuine smile those are rare.
I smiled at him before excusing my self so I could change into a bathing suit. I changed into a plain white bikini I left and went straight into the pool. As I got in Kenny splashed me. "Where've you been, there's no way you just woke up it's past 11?"
"I got up around 9 I showered and then ate breakfast" I unknowingly looked over at Johnny who was messing with Evan and Tyler. Kenny seemed to notice this as he smirked making a mental note to ask Johnny about this later.
"What" I said defensively as I noticed that smirk on his face like he knew something I didn't. He raised his hands up in surrender and zipped up his mouth and "threw out the key" he began to swim away as I splashed him square in the face. "You prick" I joked.
Ct came into the pool a little later and kept splashing me so we had a water fight cause you know I can't just take that. We were interrupted.
"Who wants to play chicken fight?" Jenn hollered.
"Oh my god me!" I immediately volunteered. I grabbed Cts hand. "Ct and I are partners".
"Oh I don't get a say in this?" He said with sass.
"No?"
"What if i don't want to".
"You know you do" I smiled innocently.
"Yeah I do". He rolled his eyes.
"That's what I-" I was cut off my him lifting me up on his shoulders. I smacked his shoulder. "A little warning would have been nice".
He dunked me underwater as retaliation "Ct" I yelled.
I noticed Jenn was on Adams shoulders, she had Tyler be the ref i knew Tyler was going to enjoy this too much.
"Go" we all began shoving Ct was clearly stronger than Adam so he was dominating down there but Jenn and I were very similar so it was pretty much back and fourth.
Ct managed to make Adam stumble so I took the opportunity and landed a big shove on Jenn and she fell back but she made sure to bring Adam with her so they both went under water.
I shoved my arm down motioning for Ct to give me a high five. Then I wrapped my arms around his face covering his eyes.
He started rapidly moving me around then dunk me under again. That's when I let go. Dick. I thought.
All a sudden Mike comes down Followed by Johnny, Wes and Tyler wearing basically woman's underwear that barely cover his junk and a cropped yellow shirt. It was mostly just the girls outside so most of us started whistling and cheering him on as he and Tyler danced on top of the hot tub.
Paula looked red as a tomato and I couldn't tell if it was from mike or the sun?
That day was perfect.
That night everyone was lounging around and Sarah walks in "guys I got a text from Tj". We all threw pillows at her. "Tj says sometimes tossing your weight around is a good thing in these challenges be ready at 9:00 AM wear your bathing suit".
Many "ohs" had escaped peoples mouths. Johnny looked confused but many of the other boys looked just excited and like their about to do absolutely amazing, we'll see though only time will tell.
Authors note- Short chapter I lied I guess I do have time LMAO but yeah.
