"Alright guys welcome back to the jungle". I hear Tj say as we all make our way out to the jungle. "Ladies" he looks towards us, "just sit back and chill; tonight you guys get to just sit back, relax and just hang out, watch all the madness" all the girls applaud to that. "Alright so tonight's the guys night". "I need to see Evan, Nehemiah and Ct, Adam" "let's go boys". Both pairs walk down and you can tell both groups are expecting to win so there really isn't any guarantee. I look over to Jen and I see her biting her nails she appears to be nervous.
"So tonight your playing rail slide" "to begin each team is going to start from a pipe 25 feet in the air you don't wanna fall that far trust me, it sucks". "And when I say go in unison you're gonna have to move that pipe all the way down the rails from start to finish". "Now it's not gonna be easy but the team that hits the finish line first will win tonight's elimination round and keep going for the big money". "Loosing team you're on the next flight out of here". "Thanks for coming to Costa Rica but you're gone" "out of here". "Alright good luck boys".
Both teams get positioned up they are holding on because there isn't a need yet for them to begin hanging until it starts. "Alright boys you guys can start hanging" both teams grab onto the rope latched onto them, "go" Tj announces as he blows the horn.
Immediately you see Ct take a huge swing and move his side of the part quite a bit but Adam is just so tiny compared to him he's still in the same place. On the other hand evan and Nehemiah haven't moved a bit like not even an inch. They can't seem to time their jumps so they can actually move some.
I can see Adam and Ct communicating very well and Adam is still sort of lagging behind but they have a significant lead on Evan and Nehemiah.
Evan and Nehemiah are moving a little now but not nearly fast enough to beat Ct the only way right now that Evan and Nehemiah could pull this out would be if Adam was completely gassed.
I look across from me and see the whole mob is in shambles everyone is mad because Evan can't back up anything he says.
Adam and Ct are stuck Adam is stuck at one of the point where you make a significant drop Ct is already down that but he can't seem to get his bar over the ledge you can see the clear panic on his face. Ct is yelling at him and you can tell he's really trying, after one more swings he ends up making it down just for them to have to do it again, but this is the last jump they need and then they win. Evan and Nehemiah aren't catching up any times soon it appears. Adam is struggling again but with Jenn beside me I reach over and give her hand a comforting squeeze, she looks at me and smiles before quickly looking back toward the elimination.
With one more jump Adam and Ct have it, and I hear the blow horn go off. Jenn hugs me and we both cheer on the boys.
The mob is pissed and Nehemiah is even more mad.
Adam and Ct share a hug and then wait to be taken off, Nehemiah and Evan wait for the same but don't exactly share a hug.
Adam looks ecstatic and so does Jenn.
Tj gets both teams and keeps his normal speech. "Alright guys that was a good game". He points to Adam and Ct "Adam, Ct you boys are still in the game and going for the big money good way to get it done". He shakes both boys hands, "you may rejoin the group" they say their goodbyes before rejoining everyone. "Evan, Nehemiah you lost tonight's elimination round, therefor you are leaving immediately and are taking the next flight home".
I look and see Kenny near tears, he catches my eye and I mouth 'are you okay?' He just shrugs, 'I'll talk to you after' I say and he nods his head as we both turn back to Tj.
"Sorry boys it's always nice to have you guys on, we will see you guys very soon".
"Bye Teej" they both chorus before waving to everyone else and walking away.
"Alright guys that ends the jungle, it just gets harder from here, so win one of those challenges so you don't end up here, alright?" "I'll see you all at the next challenge".
"Bye Tj" I say as does everyone else as we all head back to the busses.
I ask Laurel quietly if its alright if sit with Kenny she says yeah and then I go talk to Kenny.
"Hey you're sitting with me". He nods and agrees before I go to Wes.
"Hey"
"What's up Kate"
"I'm sitting with Kenny so" I shrug.
"That's fine with me".
Kenny and I sit closer to the front so we are away from the mob and most prying ears. "You okay?"
"Yeah I just was hoping you know evan would be in the final with us" he says quietly.
"I know I'll miss him too but you can't let that get you down or throw you off, you will see him as soon as it's over". "Okay?"
"You're right" it really late so naturally we're both tired, he ends up putting his head on the shoulder and falling asleep, I place my head on his and meet the same fate.
I'm shaken awake when we arrive home by Johnny as he was the closet to us. I nudge Kenny to wake him up and he stirs so I nudge him again and he groggily gets up and asks 'what' I tell him we're back at the house, he rubs his eyes before starting to get up, we both head our separate ways and I decide I'll shower in the morning since it's late and I don't feel like it.
I see Ct as I make my way to the kitchen for a glass of water before talking to anyone else, "hey I'm glad you won".
"I'm glad I did too or I wouldn't get to see you anymore" he says while laughing.
"You're cheesy".
He laughs some more "you know I'm not the only person whose glad you guys won".
He looks confused but I go to a low whisper, "Jenn was nearly in tears about Adam leaving".
"Really?" His eyes immediately widened.
"Yeah no joke".
"He's like in love with her you know".
"Yeah, I think she's really starting to like him" I say before I kiss Ct on the cheek and head to check on the others.
