The next morning, the morning of the day Ct could potentially be going home. Jenn comes up to me asking for a quick chat she grabs my arm and leads me to some chairs by the pool, it's early enough that no one's out here yet.
"What do you need Jenn?"
"Well we're kinda in the same boat" she says not meeting my eyes.
"What do you mean?"
She pauses before speaking "I mean like-" "you know you are like with Ct" she speaks clearly unsure of her choice of words.
"Go on" I encourage her.
"Well I just don't want Adam to go home and I figured you might be able to give me a little comfort or something like that".
"Aw Jenn come here" I pull her into a hug, I know how she's feeling and I'm so happy that she is admitting you know like she'd miss Adam, he clearly isn't just some boy toy for her.
We both just sit there for a little bit talking and reassuring each other, after a little she mentions she's hungry and I hear my stomach grumble so I follow her into the kitchen to grab some lunch.
I grab out some bread, and peanut butter and jelly.
I feel two hands over my eyes just as I'm about to finish my sandwich, "Didn't make any me any" I hear a oh so familiar voice.
I turn around and make eye contact with none other that Johnny, "this one's mine but I can make you one if you want?"
"It's all good I'll just make my own".
"You sure?"
"Yeah go eat yours I'll make one" he bumps me away with his hip so I simply just shrug before walking to the nearest seat so I can still talk to him.
"Did you ever finish that book you've been reading?" Shocked at the question "I just saw you reading by the pool a few times so just curious".
"Uh yeah I did a few days ago actually".
"Was it good".
"Yeah some parts were a tad bit slow and boring but in the end I think it was worth the time and money" I laugh.
"You have a great laugh you know".
"Really?"
"Yeah it's cute"
My eyes widened before placing my hands over my face trying to hide my now red cheeks.
He finishes up his sandwich and comes and sit next to me, we continue chatting and after I've finished eating I get up and clean my dishes, I look towards the winding and make eye contact with Ct he waves me over and I finish up before walking out towards him he pats the place next to him that I now occupy.
"Hey"
"Hi"
"Did you miss me".
"No" I say jokingly.
He fakes being hurt and makes a very rude jester towards me.
Now it's my turn to act shocked and hurt by this "how dare you".
He shrugs "you were mean".
"Oh shut up"
"So have you decided if you're going to grab the certain blue jersey off my bed or what?"
"Hm I told you I might just have to sport Evans jersey, greens my favorite color anyway" I speak with a smirk hanging on my lips and leaning back in my seat.
He rolls his eyes before speaking up, "we'll just have to see won't we".
"I guess we will" I laugh.
"You have a very nice laugh you know" I immediately stop laughing.
"What did you say?" I ask making sure that's what I heard.
"I said you have a nice laugh" he laughs now.
"Oh thank you so do you". We hang out for a little while longer where I eventually go and sit with him or on him, wrapping my arms around his neck just cuddling.
"You know I'll be really sad if you leave tonight" I deadpan.
"I'll be sad too, I think you're the only person I'd really miss if I left but whose to say I will" he says even unsure of himself. "I like hanging out with you, and talking to you it's a good time".
A good time? That's all.
"Yeah same, this isn't something I'd typically do on a challenge but here I am I guess" I shrug, I've only ever hooked up with two people on the show and I've dated one.
There was Kenny and then there was cahutta where we actually were together for a little over a year then split because we were in different places, he will always be one of my best friends though.
While Ct and I sit there enjoying each other's company someone shouts we need to leave in 30 so we both finish getting ready Ct puts his stuff in the pile of luggage at the door while I sneakily grab the jersey on his bed before getting changed.
The jersey is huge on me so I decide to tie it up a little.
Ct spots me as we get on the van ready to leave he winks at me and I see his grin get larger. I smile back before settling into my seat with Laurel.
"I need to tell you something now" I whisper shout.
"What?" She answers fully interested.
"So this morning while I was eating I was talking to Johnny and he made a comment about how my laugh was nice"
"It is but go on?"
"Well then I go for a chat with Ct and he says the same thing" "it was freaky" she breaks out into a fit of giggles.
"It's not funny" I smack her arm while trying to hold in my own giggles. "I'm being serious". But that doesn't stop her now most people are looking at us.
She dies down after about five minutes of laughing.
"It was not that funny come on now".
"Yes it was" she defends her self.
"Isn't that weird though"
"We'll yeah but it's just a coincidence" she shrugs.
"I know but still".
"Chill out hun".

I like just got back and got random motivation to write so I did 🤷♀️.
