Karl had finally looked up from talking.

"Oh, hey Ranboo-! What's popping? How's the family?" He smiled, throwing the salmon and pufferfish away behind him. Ranboo looked past me and Sap to his house and frowned. "What happened here-?" He asked, putting his hands on his hips and glaring at each of us separately. I panicked, "Sapnap thought it would be a good idea to prank you because you were the most forgiving and so we put water in your house!" I exclaimed. Sapnap whipped his head around and looked at me in bewilderment. "Wh-?" He tried to speak but was soon interrupted by Karl, "Yeah, he kept going on and on about putting fish and squid in your house after we were done with the water." He said solemnly, looking at the ground and shaking his head. "We tried to stop him but he kept insisting." I followed along shaking my head sadly and chewing my lip to keep from smiling. Ranboo looked unconvinced, but turned his glared to Sapnap, "Is this true?" He frowned. "Huh? NO-! Of course it isn't! They're lying to save their own sorry asses!" He accused Karl of pointing from Karl to me. Karl feigned being hurt and even let a tear slip. I could barely hold it in and had to cover my mouth to keep Ranboo from seeing my smile. Ranboo scoffed and pointed at Sapnap ''You're going to fix my house." He stated. Sapnap immediately started cussing and threw his hands in the air. I couldn't help myself and began to laugh. "Why are you laughing you're helping him." He grumbled and crossed his arms. I continued laughing as Karl once again tried to save us, but ultimately failed when he started laughing as well. "Just get on with it!" Ranboo sighed and walked off.

"Got in trouble now did we?" Sapnap sneered. I sighed and picked up my bucket. "Let's just use these." I said and Karl nodded. Sapnap put his arm out to keep Karl from picking one up and smiled, "I have an idea!" He said walking over to the house. I set my bucket down and followed him over curiously. He placed his hand on the already sagging wood and suddenly it erupted into flames. Karl and I screamed and jumped back. "What are you doing!?" I shouted. The water was leaking through the holes the fire had made and it was spreading quickly.

Sapnap looked uneasy and tried to fan the fire out, causing it only to grow more fierce. "SAPNAP-! What the heck!?" Karl yelled, taking refuge behind me. Amongst all the yelling and the cracking of the fire we heard a high-pitched gurgle. I turned around slowly to find a baby zombie decked out in full armor. He even had his own tiny sword. How wonderful. We each glanced at each other before deciding all at once that running away was our best option. Our armor was at home along with any and all weapons that would be helpful at the time. I never said we were any good at planning ahead.

We sprinted away, shoes plowing through the dry grass, as fast as our legs could take us. It wasn't long before we spotted Ranboo talking with Philza and laughing together. "Yes, and then they tried blaming-'' We zipped past them knocking Philza to the side. "Run!" We shouted in union as I managed to make eye contact for only a second.

A second was all it took for Philza to spot the baby zombie and bolt ahead of us. He was very afraid. It was understandable. Neither of them seemed to have any armor on them either.

I felt a tug on my wrist and glanced over to find Sapnap on the other end tugging me along with him. I looked again at Karl to see him in the same state as me stumbling after us. "Have fun guys! Don't worry I'll pay for all the damage later, promise!" Sap called as we left Philza and Ranboo to defend themselves against the angry baby zombie.

We collapsed onto the lumpy couch in exhaustion. We shared a few moments of much needed silence before we exploded with laughter. Today was exciting. I'm glad Karl is smiling again. "I love you guys." I mumbled tiredly, snuggling into Sapnap's shoulder. He chuckled and pulled Karl in on his other side. "I love y'all too." He smiled. Karl hummed in agreement, "Ditto." He giggled. And with that I let the exhaustion take over falling into a comfortable sleep.
