Breakfast went by faster than I'd hoped. The dishes were stacked in the sink awaiting my arrival. I heard muffled giggles and quieted voices behind me and smiled. I glanced behind myself for less than a second but found my eyes glued to the spot. Quakity with his arms outstretched, explaining a joke probably, whispering hurriedly to a rather amused Karl; They must've felt me starting, and not long after they each sushed the other and gave a sheepish smile, I chuckled at the likeness of their faces. "Will you two have time between gossip to cuddle on the couch?" I asked, my smile widening at the chorus of offended gasps I got in return. "I'll have you know this is no ordinary 'gossip'-!" Quakity exclaimed, "It's very important!" Karl chimed in. I sighed and motioned to the couch. "What'd ya say? Shall we cuddle the handsome man or leave him to reminisce over his wrongdoings?"

They couldn't contain their laughter at that and an explosion of euphoria seemed to take over the kitchen. I wandered into the living room and took my rightful place at the end. I leaned my head back listing to the children in the other room continue to try and contain their giggles. I felt a dip in the couch and my head rose to find Quakity smiling triumphantly. I sighed and ruffled his hair as Karl spoke: "Sapnap, I can't seem to get my mind off this morning." I looked over at Karl his eyebrows furrowed and his teeth working on his bottom lip. I thought for a second doing something together would be nice. I smiled "Well, what would y'all like to do today? We can Mine, Fish, explore-." I was interrupted by a hand being placed on my mouth. "Why don't we go pranking today!" Quakity stated more than asked a look of mischief shone in his eyes. I looked over to Karl for confirmation and let out a relieved sigh when he nodded eagerly seemingly content with today's new plans.
He leaped over the back of the couch only to be tripped, by his own feet no less, and land face-first-into the hardwood floors

There was a defining silence as Quakity and I took in the failed attempt. We made eye contact and lost it. Quakity was the first to break a broken giggle here and there before we both burst out laughing. Karl picked himself up off the floor and sent us each a look that could kill before retreating out the door. Quakity and I looked at each other once more and leaped from the couch "Wait!" we yelled in unison, darting after our Karl.
