(POV) Karl

"Wake up, sleepy head~!" A soft voice sang from behind. It was as if they were speaking directly into my back, "Sapnap, leave 'em alone! He's been working late nights in the Castle; you know this." Another voice, this one further away, said with a hint of humor in their tone. To say I was confused would definitely be an understatement. My head shot up and I whipped around to meet the faces of those strange voices eye-to-eye. Two men sat in front of me. The guy sitting closest to me had a tattered blue cap covering his dark, messy, tangled locks of hair. He wore a neat buttoned down shirt under his leather suspenders, a pouch connected to his hip above a clean looking pair of beige trousers. I took in his rather lay-back appearance before turning to asses the second man behind him. He too had dark hair, though longer and clearly taken care of, held above his eyes by a tattered white cloth. Slight scruff decorated his sharp jawline and gave him a rather messy look. A worn-out leather jacket hung loosely over his broad shoulders as the white shirt underneath it was semi-tucked into a pair of dark brown trousers.

I blinked as I realized who these men were. I slowly backed away and swayed on unstable feet. As I steadily gained my balance I glanced down at my own clothing. A bright multi-colored shirt was messily tucked into tan trousers, my favorite light sweater thrown over my shirt leaving only the collar and sleeves visible. A pair of crooked googles lay atop my fluffy brown hair and I brought a hand up to adjust them. I looked back at the men in front of me and smiled sheepishly, "Hey, Sappy; Quakity, why am I not in the library?" I asked. They both looked at one another before they shook their heads. "You fell 'asleep, you've been here awhile." Sapnap said slowly, his head tilting to the side in childish confusion. I was confused, but decided to brush it off as the stress just finally getting to me. I then realized that these two had to have found me this way and felt my cheeks begin to burn.

"Ahah... Uhm, uh so, who found me-?" I asked hesitantly, as they once again glanced at each other before looking back at me, "Well, about that-... It just so happened to be prince Technoblade's betrothed, Dream, who had the pleasure of finding you, love." Quakity said breezing through the words rather quickly, as they mashed together and made it a bit hard for me to understand all at once. My brain slowly put the pieces together and a small: "Oh." Was all I could muster. My head felt light once again and my legs began to buckle as I swayed once more, my vision blurring in and out before I finally fell into the dark of my mind.

"Karl~" I groaned as I heard my name being called, ripping me from the warmth of my dream, "Seriously, Karl, get off I need to use the bathroom; you aren't helping here!" The voice spoke once again, this time a bit of annoyance laced in its playful words. I groaned and mumbled angrily before rolling away from the troublesome voice, rolling right off the couch in the process as well. I hit the floor with a hollow thud followed closely by a yelp and a short: "Ouch!" pouting, I glared up at the other two softly snickering at me from their comfy perches.

I sighed before climbing back up to my feet. I brushed myself off and strutted into the kitchen with a short 'hmpf' as I left the two behind. I settled down into a fittingly cozy table chair, watching as life continued outside the thin glass of a window. I began to think back to my dream. It was... Strange. Definitely strange. What had been going on, where had I been, and why? More importantly /when/ had I been? I really had no clue where to even start looking for answers to these questions, I mean it was just a dream, right? I sighed and shook the thoughts from my mind, I was at home with the two most handsome men I've ever had the pleasure of laying my eyes upon, and I wouldn't that if for the world. But something was definitely wrong; I can feel it I just don't know what it could be. Now that I thought about it, it could be many things Dream going on another genocide hunt with Technoblade, Bad finally succumbing to anger and cussing someone out, or maybe Callahan would speak for the first time. The fact it could be literally anything made a shiver run up my spine. "You cold?" Quakity's voice asked from behind. I turned to look at him before smiling and shaking my head in a quick answer.

That concludes it, I wouldn't trade this for all the riches in the world. I stood and walked over to Quakity before capturing him in a hug, "'M just thinkin'..." I mumbled as I buried my face into his neck, bending down to accommodate for the height difference. "Thinking about what?" He chuckled, pushing my hair flat to keep it from tickling him further. I sighed before answering, "Just about how I'm the luckiest guy in the world to be living this beautiful, perfect—maybe even too perfect—life of mine." I said, raising my head to give him a kiss on the nose, giggling as his face stained red in a prominent blush. "Hey!? Am I missing out on a cuddle session!?" Sapnap yelled from the hall as his head popped around the corner. He had just come from the bathroom and Quakity and I began to snicker as he walked towards us, draping his long arms around the both of us.

Yeah, I can't think of a single thing I'd change.
