PriPara: Joy Or Sorrow (Finished)

Chapter 25

Laala was halfway to her house, and she was still coughing. Her throat began to hurt. It felt like it could burst. Just as she took another step with her right foot, she collapsed. Although she kept her arms steady, not letting them drop. She began to push her self up. But her legs wouldn't move.

She began to turn her head, looking to see if her friends or anyone was nearby. She wanted to shout help. But it came out too scared and she coughed. Her head was facing down while coughing. Her eyes were also shut. But she did not faint.

As she began to push herself back up, the coughing made her go lower. Laala had known that she had a serious illness. There was no cure for it. She had to die. Her worriness's began to fade away as she kept coughing.

This time her whole body collapsed to the ground. She was only able to move her head. She continued to cough with her eyes closed. She did not give in. she didn't want to faint. But the now silver hair girl made a mistake opening her eyes.

At the ground had been blood. Blood coming from her mouth. Laala stood horrified at what her illness had caused. She tried to slowly adjust her arm, moving her hand next to her mouth. As her fingertips touched her lips, she moved her hand away so the girl could see if this was her blood. And it was.

Back to Laala's home... 

Non had been early. Non was making dinner since her sister did not arrive in time. (A/N:I was able to cook when I was the same age as her, so she had the ability to cook in my story)

- "My troublesome Onee-chan... Where are you now?" - muttered Non.

Just as Non finished cooking dinner, she grew suspicious why Laala still wasn't here. Laala had told Non that she went on a date with Shougo so she was relieved a bit thinking her sister was with him, The house's door opened to reveal her parents had come back to work.

- "You're finished with dinner already? Where's Laala?" - Questioned Himeka.

- "Onee-chan hasn't come yet. I think she probably went with her boyfriend." - Non replied and tried to think positively.

- "Well let's save some for her when she comes home." - Non's father decided when he thought Laala was probably strolling around the town again.

After they had finished their meals, they all were getting worried where Laala was. Laala would leave messages if she went home late to let them know where she was. Non opened her Rosette Pact to call Laala but she couldn't connect.

- "Papa, Mama, Onee-chan didn't answer my phone call!" - Non said in a worried voice.

- "We will go find her around there. Can you ask your friend in PriPara to find her?" - Himeka asked.

- "I get it, Mama." 

As soon as her parents went out of the house, she called Yui through the Rosette Pact because she didn't have Shougo's phone number.

- "Hello, Yui-san, is Onee-chan with you?" - Non asked as soon as Yui tapped the Answer button.

- "No, Non-chan. I only dream saw her at PriPara. I think she dream began to walk around for a bit after her date with my stupid Onii-chan."

- "Well she hasn't returned yet, do you know where she went?"

- "Sorry, not really, I only know she wouldn't be near crowded people sometimes. I will ask Onii-chan for you."

- "Ah, thank you Yui-san."

Non sighed and closed the Rosette Pact. She began to think that Laala was missing. After a while, she received Yui's message and her parents went home.
