At ophthalmology dept...
The only optometrist inside the room opened the door and received the paper containing Laala's condition and disease from the nurse. She examined it carefully for a while before asking Laala some simple questions about her eyesight.
- "So, Laala-chan. My name is Rinka. Can I asked you some questions?"
- "Yes."
- "Did you have your annual eye exam in last six months?" - She asked.
- "Yes. I last had it five months ago." - Answered Laala with a nervous voice.
- "Relax, Laala-chan. At that time, do you have any problems with your eyesight?"
- "No. My eyesight was pretty good that time. But, recently, when I looked at something, it became blurred to me."
- "I see. Laala-chan, shall we start?"
- "Mmmmm," was Laala's only reply. She always hated the eye exam, especially the drops, but this time she came to it with an added level of anxiety. She had noticed, even since the Grand Prix started, a subtle change in her vision. Straight lines had begun to appear wavy or blurred when she looked at them. She hated the hospital. Hated the disease she got. Hated every time she collapsed. Hated seeing everyone worry for her. She hated all of them.
- "Any problems, Laala-chan?" - Rinka's voice broke through Laala's thoughts and she frowned a little when she heard what Laala had to say.
- "Could it be serious?" - Laala wanted to know.
- "Could be any number of things, Laala-chan." She answered, "All changes in vision is something that needs checking out and there is no point in speculating. Let's get on with the exam and we'll talk afterwards."

"Laala. Why such a person like you has a destiny like this?" - The key thought, "The time being with you is so precious. It changes me into better. It even makes me want to stop the contract... But, why did you refuse? Because of this disease, your stamina is decreasing everyday..."
Flashback...
At night...
Laala's room...
- "I want to cheer them on in the tournament."
- "You hear me the first time right? Your stamina is not good. If you don't keep it, you can't do any performance anymore."
- "I read you loud and clear... But I still want to go. I want to spend my last time with them..."
- "But if you can't do a performance, your teammates will..."
- "I won't lose...They are my friends, so it'll be fine. But... you seem to care about me, right?" - Laala smiled.
- "I just... Anyways, it's not like I don't warn you about this!"
- "Thank you, Kagi-san."
Back to reality...
"I care a lot about you, Laala... Just tell them about your disease already... When they find out about it, they will hurt even more..." - It looked at Laala worriedly.
Flashback...
- "So... I lie to them again..." - She looked through the window seeing the rain coming.
- "I know I had told you not to tell them about me, but you should at least tell them about your health."
- "I know, but... it's better this way..."
