The silence surrounding the pair had Victoria on edge; more so than what she had been like at the beginning of this conversation. She was still none the wiser of why Nate was even here as he stared at her from across the short distance.
"I just want to be sure you'll be keeping your pretty little mouth shut." Nate began to speak. "I wasn't going to say anything." Victoria babbled with her brown eyes pleading with him to believe her.

"I know you believe that," Nate purred and a look of sympathy washed over his face that she found harder to figure out if it was fake or not. His hands moved down his thighs as he leaned closer. Victoria watched his every move as she ducked her head in growing fear. She just wanted Fez but now she felt she was in too deep.

"Are we done now?" Victoria asked as she looked up from under her lashes; her heart in her throat as she tried to calm her nerves. She placed her hands under her thigh to keep from abusing her palm any longer. "No, not at all." Nate moved to stand; placing his jacket over the chair he removed himself from.
"Nate, please.." Victoria began as she moved to stand but the height difference would always be there. "God, your begging is hot." He purred and it only had her more on edge as she backed into the sofa. "Nate." She began to repeat herself as he tucked a lock of her hair around her ears. The softness of his action shocked her into silence for a moment.

It didn't last long as his grip tightened and she couldn't stop the whimper escaping her lips as she tried to pull away. "I'll keep an eye on you, make sure you don't step out of line." He tugged her hair once more. "Or he pays the price." There was no reason to name who Nate meant; it was obvious.
"You don't have to do this." Victoria softly pleaded. "I won't tell anyone about you and Cassie." She began to babble as her heart skipped a beat. Nate's hand moved to wrap around her neck and she prayed to whoever that there was no mark. How would she explain this, she thought to herself.

Her hands moved to his wrist to try and tug him away but it was no use. "Nate, leave." Victoria managed to speak and after a moment of silence he moved from her. "Don't do anything stupid now, okay?" Nate threatened and leaned into her space once more. She couldn't find anything else to say as she quickly placed some space between them.

Victoria stood waiting for his next move as the air seemed to grow thick. She could feel her heart in her ears as the silence spread over them. "I'll let you go then." As if he was in control, which Victoria had to admit in this situation, he unfortunately was.

The breath she hadn't realised she had been holding was released and finally her heart was back to it's normal pace. Victoria slowly moved towards her window; slightly parting the curtains as she peaked out. She felt sorry for her bottom lip as she continued to chew on it; her worry still rushing through her.
Annoyingly, the sound of her phone ringing had her jump slightly. Her eyes moved to the table as she reached to touch her neck. The ringing continued but Victoria decided on locking her door before making her way to the phone.

Her boyfriend's name across the screen brought a soft smile to Victoria's face as she picked it up. "Hi," She hoped her voice didn't give anything away as she began to babble. "Are you okay? And Ash?" Victoria walked past the chair Nate had previously occupied; completely unaware of his jacket still over it. "Yeah, ma. Everything was fine." His voice automatically brought her worry down as calmness now spread across her. "I'm glad." Victoria whispered and she burrowed into the sofa; holding the phone close.

"What are you doing now?" Victoria found herself asking as she brought the blanket up to her chin. "I was thinking of coming to yours." Fez answered in that familiar drawl that had her tingling in all the right places. "I'm not properly dressed." Victoria giggled as she settled on the pillow. "But I'd like that." She continued.

"Yeah?" Fez hummed in a tone that had Victoria blushing some more. "You want any food?" He asked in that concerned voice that never seemed to leave him. "I'm okay, I can cook something for us."
"Hmm, you don't have to do that, ma." His voice was like music to her ears as her blush still brightened her cheeks. "I want to. Is Ash coming?" Victoria moved from the sofa; her mind distracting her from the visit to planning their meal.

"Nah, he's got his friends on discord." Fez hummed his answer and Victoria could hear him leaving the house with his brother yelling in the background. "Want leftovers."
"Shut up bro." Fez called back with Victoria giggling in his ear; her worries all but forgotten about as she placed her messy locks in a bun. "Well, I have the house to myself so...we can do whatever." The words fumbled out of her mouth and had a dark chuckle leaving Fezco's own.

"Smooth, baby." He cooed with the engine starting in the background. "Sometimes I wonder if that's all you want from me." Fez began to tease which had Victoria proclaiming her innocence. "No, it's not..I promise." She giggled into the phone. "Hmm, we'll see. I'll be there soon."

The call was cancelled and had Victoria collected her thoughts for a moment before another ping of her phone had her attention.

Unknown number: Remember, little bird. Don't say anything.

Victoria watched with fear dancing in her eyes as a picture of Fez in his car came through the phone.
