Ron's POV:

"Come on Ron, let's go say hi to the new people!" My mom smiled, carefully rubbing my back and walking over to a bearded wild looking man who was holding onto a baby, right besides him stood the new guy, staring right at me.

Suddenly I felt my whole body freeze, his eyes met mine and we just glared at each other before I shook my head, trying to get it cleared. "Shit." I grunted before walking over to him to chat. "Hey." He said, that was when I knew I wasn't gonna like him, the way he spoke so confidently made me mentally gag. "Hi." I huffed, already regretting that I came over to talk to him.

"I'm Carl." He said, smiling a bit and I raised one of my eyebrows. "Ron." I said, giving him a nod. "Well, nice to meet you!" Carl said again and I just nodded before walking away from him, finally feeling less nervous and like I could breath correctly.

"Ron, hey!" I suddenly heard a familiar voice as I turned around. It was Denise, she was talking with some brunette girl and a black woman. "hey." I said, walking up to them.

"This is Ron, he's the doctor's son." She smiled and I nodded, sliding my hands in my pockets before walking out from the back. The cold air hit me as I closed the door behind me, climbing up in a tree on Deanna's lot.

It was nice, sitting in a tree looking at the dark sky, hearing voices, people and music coming from inside but still being away from it. After a while I closed my eyes, almost falling asleep untill. "Ron?" I jumped up from where I was laying, accidentally falling down and hitting the ground with a dunk.

"Fuck, are you ok?" I heard Carl mumble as he helped me up. "I'm fine." I grunted, angry that he ruined the moment. "You sure?" He asked again, tilting his head and I grunted something before walking back inside.

Carl's POV:

I was standing there, as Ron went inside angrily. I felt bad about it, what did I do wrong? I just wanted to make a friend. I didn't want enemies here, I wanted to turn my life around for the better.

"Damn it Carl." I mumbled to myself before heading on inside. After a while I walked up to my dad, as he handed me Judith.

I sat down on a couch bouncing the baby carefully on my leg, Ron and Mickey where playing Cards in the corner, messing around. "No bro, just take up the cards man!" I heard Ron laugh, and quickly looked away.

"Is it your kid?" I suddenly heard a guy ask and I turned my head around. "No, no she's my sister, Judith." I smiled, and the guy nodded. "I thought I'd never see a baby ever again." He laughed before walking away. "Cawl." Judith tried to speak making me smile a bit. "Yeah, yeah I'm Carl." I told her, smiling.

Suddenly I saw Ron, he was talking to his mom, drinking a coke at the same time. His green eyes where tinting a yellow-ish shade and his toothy smile was adorable. Suddenly he looked down at his hands and then his head started turning towards me, he was eyeing everyone in the room slowly. One after one I saw his eyes jump from person to person before meeting with mine.

He stared at me for a few seconds before raising his eyebrows and looking away annoyed, I stood up still holding Judith heading up towards him, and his mom who was talking to my dad. "hey." I said carefully, and he turned around to face me. "Carl." He said, with no emotion in his face.

"That's your sister, right?" He asked and I smiled. "Yeah, Judith." I said, handing her to my dad.
