Part 2

Basil's POV:

"Alright, you lead the way Basil." "O-ok but close your eyes, I'll make sure you don't fall." I said as I felt heat rush into my face and ears. As we walk there I panic 'What if he doesn't like it... What if he hates me afterwards... I need to stop thinking like that... Sunny would never hate me because of something like this... Right?'

Sunny's POV:

'hmm, I wonder what Basil wanted to show me. He seemed really excited for it so it must be something good' I get pulled out of my train of thought to myself stumbling over my own feet.

"Oh, are you ok Sunny," Basil said seeming worried.

'Crap. He noticed.' "O-oh, umm, yeah I'm fine Basil, just tripped over my feet thats all," I frantically said trying to calm his nerves.

"Oh, ok good, also you can open your eyes now." Basil told.

"Wow Basil did you do this?" I exclaim. Looking all around there where so many flowers, so many colors, it seemed so peaceful here now. Basil must have worked really hard to keep this up. I mean i always knew he was good with plants but damn, this was incredible.

"O-oh, yeah, while you where in your house for thise 4 years I was working on this, it took alot of work and convincing the people who own the park but I think it really worked out," Basil said. "I also set up a picnic over there if you wanna follow me over there."

As I followed Basil to the picnic blanket i couldn't help but notice how much detail he had out into this place, it was kinda... admirable. 'God damnit, he is able to do so much and keep to it, why can't i be as good as him,' i thought to myself.

"Alright Sunny, you can sit down now." Basil said kinda puzzled by me just standing there.

Basil's POV:

'Ok self just do it, tell him, Sunny would ever get mad at you over something like this' I thought.

"H-hey Sunny. C-can I tell you something," I said trying to keep my calm.

"Sure Basil, what is it?" Sunny said.

"Umm. Gah, h-how do I say this. Umm. I-I like you Sunny."

"Aw i like you too Basil," Sunny said sounding like an idiot.

"NO. N-not like that. I like-like you Sunny, and i have scince we where kids, I know it is wrong for a boy to like another boy but I cant help it Sunny, Please don't hate me," I said trying not to cry.

"Why would i hate you Basil. What you feel is 100% normal. So what if im a boy. I was also feeling the same way." Sunny said, i didnt quite get what he was saying at first but.

"W-what, Sunny," I said starting to cry, "I-I wasn't expecting you to like me back."

"Woah, Basil there's no need to cry. Hey are you okay," Sunny said, I could tell he was confused.

"O-oh, im just so happy Sunny, I don't know what to do with myself right no-" But before i could finish my sentence I felt Sunny's warm arms wrap around me.

"I'm happy too Basil, I never thought you would like me either so I just kept it to myself" Sunny said, 'I've never seen Sunny like this' I thought to myself.

"H-hey Sunny, do you wanna come over to my house?" I asked
