This is a request! From hercega ! So thank you for the request ! :D And I'm sorry it's taken a bit to get to it! 

(I'm gonna be honest this isn't spell-checked, so please bear with any spelling errors as of now..! If there are any updates to this chapter, they're spelling corrections :') Grammarly can only help me so much-)

As summary,, the request was for the theory of Ollie being the son of Captain Rose from The Black Rose Pirates..! Which is actually a really cool theory I've seen floating around a little bit..! Ollie snuck away from home to learn more about his father since his mother didn't tell him anything, and upon finding the Riptide crew, he starts to ask some questions! 

I hope I do this justice pls this is such a sad but cool theory ;-;

Also omg writing in pov of anyone but Gillion is truly character development for me-

Ollie huddled his knees closer, a small piece of paper leaning against his legs as he scribbled down what he could remember of the conversation he had overheard between Chip and Drey.

He had been on his way to find Chip to ask if he was free to teach him some more things about being a pirate, something the two had been spending time doing as of late. But on his way, he heard Chip's voice muffled by a closed door, in conversation with a gruff and tired sounding voice. From knowledge of the people that stayed on the ship, Ollie recognised the tired older voice as Drey almost immediately. 

Now, Ollie had been raised by a very respectful and kind woman, and he knew very well his mama wouldn't be happy to know he'd been eavesdropping in on a conversation, a conversation between a good friend of his no less! However, just as he was about to leave, Ollie just so happened to hear a topic that grabbed his attention all over again. 

...The Black Rose Pirates...

Ollie's body immediately froze, his pointed ears feeling as if they'd perked up at the familiar name. He had stayed for as long as he was able to, his ear to the door, slowing his own breathing to listen closer. After a minute or so, he was forced to run off hearing Chip mention he had planned on trying to spend time with Ollie today, the conversation having been a slight detour. That was the last of the interaction between Chip and Drey Ollie had managed to get before running off towards the kitchen, jumping into his small hammock in the corner and fumbling for his paper and quill. 

There wasn't much information the small half-elf had gotten since leaving home, apart from possible crewmates of his father's. Drey apparently had been one of them. Chip another. Ollie had known of Chip's connection to his father's ship crew, having heard the pirate mention the Black Rose pirates a few times now. Ollie continued to scribble down the information before he forgot it, adding Drey's name to the list of crewmates of his father's, as well as a Rufus and a Finn. The only other thing was that Ollie had heard a brief and very vague mention of a hole in the waters, though he wasn't entirely sure what that meant. He hadn't heard of anything like that before, he wasn't even sure if it was a possible thing to occur in the ocean. He decided to add it anyway, if Chip said it had something to do with his father's disappearance, then there had to be a reason. Chip seemed just as worried and desperate to find out what had happened as Ollie was, proving as a reason to trust any vagueness that came from him.
