*In that same unknown area as before*
A man walks out of the shadows, only to find three other men bowing their heads in his sight. His red hair is styled in bangs, he wears a designer suit and only cares about the bottle of wine sitting right on the table. One small movement made by his hand and all the men are now on standby. A woman walks in front of them and sits next to the red haired man.
"Did you see him?" She asks.
A smile grows on his face. An evil smile.
"I did." He replies.
"And?"
"He almost killed another one of my listed candidates in one kick." The smile grew even more. "Yelena, bring him to me. I'll talk with him before we get aggressive."
"Yes Floch." The woman bows her head. "You three! In my office." She ordered the men...

Eren's POV
"I didn't think you could actually save me from him. Thanks for standing up for me." The girl told me as I looked into her eyes. She is pretty damn attractive.
"Nah, I'm actually sorry for even getting you involved. I shouldn't hav-"
"Stop. I wanted to come so I just did. You're not responsible for this. I'll come next time too." She interrupted.
I smiled breaking the eye contact. I looked to my side and scratched the back of my head.
"What's the smile for?" She said forming a smile of her own.
"We've been so busy today that I didn't even have a chance to notice and tell you that you look great." I stated.
Giving compliments to a girl or flirting isn't something that can get me nervous anymore. It kinda just comes naturally. You only have to look straight to her eyes and be confident. What's the worst that could happen?
"Thanks..." She looked down. Being able to at least not stutter was as far as her self control skills seemed go. Her whole face was red. It's so cute watching her struggle with flirting.
She took a deep breath. "You look good as well." She tried her best to make it sound natural. And failed.
The little burst of confidence was too cute for me not to laugh at. As for the compliment itself, let's just say it's precious. It meant a lot more to me hearing it from her than those other girls before.
"Thank you." I said between giggles. "Goodnight." I patted her head and left her dumbfounded.
Mikasa POV
I stood in front of the door to my house frozen. The sound of a door closing to my right brought me back to the world of the living.
I ran inside and slammed the door. I sprinted upstairs, got in my room, grabbed my pillow and screamed into it.
That's a bit better. My mind properly functions again. Close enough to properly, at least.
I've never been in such a situation ever before. I mean, a compliment from a guy is quite common but full on both ways flirting is a first. I don't even know why I felt the need to return the favor. Sure, he's a great looking guy but I'm not all that into dating in general.
Just get over it. Act like nothing happened. He's just kind that's all. Forget about it and move on with your day.
It was already getting late, so I just took a shower and went to bed right after. What a full day this was.
The next day

SHOPPING DAY!
Today I had planned to go shopping at the new mall that opened a few weeks ago in this area. A full day to spend by myself. Not that I don't love my new friends, but everyone needs some alone time.
I headed to the kitchen, where Levi had left breakfast for me before going to work. I chilled in my bed throughout the morning and noon, not really doing anything productive. Early in the afternoon, I left for the mal.
I'm not the kind of person who walks into every store and tries out random stuff. I wanted to by a few certain things that I had in mind and go back home.
A little over thirty minutes before I had everything I needed, it began to pour a little bit. By the time I was done, it was raining cats and dogs. I stood under the entrance to the mall, where I wasn't getting wet, just staring into the sky, wondering how I'd get back home. My plan was to walk my way back, but that didn't seem possible. Levi was also working for a few more hours, so everything seemed hopeless.
Just when I was about to make a 15 minute long run for my house, a hand on my shoulder stopped me.
"Eren?" I got caught by surprise. The same old smile glued on his face, his emerald green eyes staring at me. My cheeks flushed red at last night's memories, though I tried to calm myself down.
"You know we live like 30 minutes away from here right? You'll catch a cold. Here take this at least." He stuck his hand out holding an umbrella.
His kindness once again made me smile "Do you have another one for yourself?"I asked.
"Yeah I left it back inside. Don't worry." He assured me.
"Wait what are you even doing here?" I asked.
"Just came to check out some stores and just, you know, spend some time alone."
"Oh... Ok." I took the umbrella from his hands. "Thanks a lot. You're a lifesaver." I threw in another smile.
"Don't worry about it. Catch you later." He waved me off and went back inside.
Once he door behind him closed shut, a small sigh escaped my mouth.Talking with this guy makes so anxious. The fact that I can't really understand the reason why I'm getting this feeling drives me crazy...
