CHAPTER 3

Eren's POV

I was almost reaching my house when at a right turn, I lift up my head to see if Armin was in his backyard because I wanted some help with an assignment.

I might be a delinquent but I still try my best for Hange's class. Not because I like biology or anything, nor am I trying to become a doctor, it's more like Hange's super nice to all of us and knows my brother quite well, so she has been supporting me and helping me out with stuff for years.

Armin is the genius of the gang. He lived in the house across the street. Unfortunately, he wasn't there, but before I could drift back to autopilot I noticed a figure taking a step towards me in an aggressive manner.

I blocked a punch coming to my stomach, hurting my arm, and took a quick step back to analyze the situation.

"Why today of all days? Listen I'll let that one slide if you get the fuck outta here." I said almost unimpressed. It wasnt too uncommon for things like this around here. I saw it was a female, and she was also young.

A girl around my age trying to rob me... That's a drag. I really wanna go home.

"What the fuck are you on about? What do you want from me?" She said.

That's not how a robbery is supposed to go.

"Hey I'm the one getting ambushed here do I look like I want anything from you?" I sarcastically said.

"Yeah and I'm the one being followed for like 5 minutes so unless you wanna come up with a better excuse, I'm gonna drop your ass."

I smiled, finding what she said funny. I took of my hood.

"Well I'm gonna have to pass on tha-" A punch aimed at my jaw caught me off.

I immediately reacted by tilting to my left and dodging her swing, swept her legs and caught her one centimeter before her back hit the ground. It was a girl so I didn't want to knock her out.

I locked her arm behind her back and holded her head and waist so she wouldn't fall.

"Listen princess. If I was actually following you and wanted to kidnap you, I definitely had many chances to do so by now. I'm not a bad guy ok? Just go home it's late."

I pushed her back up and put my hands in my pockets. She stood there dumbfounded.

She took another look at me, her expression changing. It was as if she just realized something.

"Wait are you the guy sitting next to me at school?"

"Oh, hi." I awkwardly smiled. She did look familiar, but I hadn't payed enough attention at school for me to recognize her without her comment.

"I have to go so..." I walked past her and patted her shoulder.

I tried my best to not be a dick to her, just because of my personal stuff. After all, she didn't do anything irrational. I just knew for a fact that I did nothing wrong either. Simple misunderstanding.

"I'm sorry then I guess."

"It's fine, I would have probably done the same. Later." I said lifting my arm and motioning a goodbye with my back still turned to her.

When I got home, I took a quick shower and headed back downstairs to the kitchen.

What should I eat? Cooking would be too much trouble, even though I was a decent chef. Mayb-

"Pizza?"

"HOLY FUCK!"

I don't know what having a heart attack feels, like but this must be relatively close.

"Armin what the fuck dude?! I almost died there." The motherfucker laughed at my misery.

"Stop whining and come play." He pointed to my controller.

He was sitting at my couch, with my console booted, and two boxes of pizza. His expression had that "my house now" vibe to it, but it was also me who gave him a key.

The jump scare aside, I was happy he was here. I took my seat next him and picked up a slice from the box.

"Thanks." I said. He took my message and nodded.

Mikasa's POV

I really didn't know how to feel about this incident. Some of the thoughts that popped up were about how easily he took me down or how nice he remained even after me attacking him.

I got back home I jumped into my pyjamas, made some toasts, leaving 3 on the table since Levi would be coming in half an hour, and I just chilled in my room with some music.

Time skip bitches.

I heard the sound of the doorbell and so I got my phone and wallet and walked downstairs. I opened the door to be greeted by a smilling Sasha.

"You ready?" She asked me.

"Yup"

Since I didn't know where exactly the park is, Sasha agreed to pick me up so we can go there together.

We talked about random stuff, and I even mention what happened last night. We both laughed a bit, but made it to our destination sooner than I thought.

We both walked towards a bench where we spotted our friends sitting

The ones that had made it so far were Connie, Annie, Reiner, Armin and Historia.

"Hey guys." Sasha happily said sitting next to Connie.

"Sup potato girl?" Annie joked.

I also greeted everyone and took a sit next to Sasha. Three motorcycles where parked almost next to us, so assumed they were theirs.

"So, Ymir and Eren are both coming?" Reiner asked this time.

"Prolly."

I was about to ask about this Eren guy, since I hadn't met him yet, but before I could, Sasha pointed to my left saying "speak of the devil"

I looked at the direction she pointed and saw Ymir and... Wow, what are the odds?
