CHAPTER 1

1 year later...

Mikasa's POV

"Get your ass up brat. You don't wanna be late at your new school."

I groaned and rolled around in annoyance, as I just got woken up in a very unpleasant way.

"Just 5 more minutes."

I mumbled as I kept snuggling in my bed, which happened to feel extremely comfortable, as any other day when I have to forcefully get up.

"I don't got no 5 minutes brat, I have to get to work. Get. Up." Levi said.

Levi was my brother, and also a police officer. Him and I lived together, since our parents were in a fatal car accident when I was only just 7. Luckily, I was too ignorant at the time, so the pain this caused was not as terrible as it could have been. Still though, the two of us got along well, so we didn't really have any problems. Except for his attitude that is. He really pisses me off some times but there is nothing I can do about it, which pisses me off even more.

I put on my hoodie and black teared jeans and made my way to the car.

This year, would be my first at this new school. I was really excited. We were moving because of Levi's new promotion so naturally I transfered school too. Not really gonna miss my old one though, everyone was quite annoying.

I was not what you'd call a good student. I never really paid attention in class nor were my grades ever impressive. I was a delinquent. I learnt how to fight at a young age, bullied some kids at my old school, for which I'm truly not sorry, and generally liked doing stupid shit.

Thing is, Shiganshina high school was known to be full of delinquents, so I was exited.

Of course, Levi never scolded me for it, since he used to be a delinquent himself, and seeing how it turned out fine for him made me worry free.

When we reached the school, I gave him a kiss on the cheek as he patted my head, we wished each other a good day and he left.

I walked inside the school and looked around. I had to find the principal's office, to receive my time table. The thing is, I had no idea where to go.

I wandered a bit, but at some point I bumped into someone. I wasn't paying attention in front of me, and soon found myself mid air, waiting for the painful moment when I hit the ground, but it never came. I opened my eyes and saw a boy holding me so I wouldn't fall.

I got back to my own feet and he took his arms off me.

"My bad. I was daydreaming." He said

"Nah you're good, I wasn't paying attention either." I said before we both went our seperate ways.

I really should have asked him which way to go, which I obviously didn't cause I'm dumb. Back to being lost...

I kept wandering for like 30 seconds before a random girl came up to me and asked me. "You look lost. Need help? "

She was also a brunette, with her hair in a high ponytail.

"Where the fuck is the principal's office?" I kindly asked

She pointed to a door about 10 meters away, which made me feel completely stupid.

"I'll wait so you don't get lost again." She laid her hand out for me to shake

"Sasha"

"Mikasa." I said and shook her hand.

I walked in the office, and saw a blonde man working on his computer. He lifted up his gaze and smiled.
