The next day as Natasha was teaching her class their new routine a tall, muscular darker skinned man walked into the main office of the studio.
"Hi, I'm here to see Natasha" he told the receptionist with his accent coming out thick
The receptionist looked up at the man and gave him a friendly smile "and you are" she questioned
"T'Challa" he replied
"Give me one minute" she told him
He nodded and she picked up the phone dialing the number to Natasha's room where she was teaching her class.
"Hello" Natasha answered
"Hi, miss Romanoff, there's a T'Challa here to see you" she stated
Natasha looked at her class giving them a small smile before she turned her attention back to her phone "I'll be there in a minute" she stated before hanging up "Maria can you watch them while I'm gone" she asked as she walked up to her sister who had been helping her the last few weeks
"Sure, where are you going" she asked
"There's someone that needs to see me" Natasha replied nonchalantly
Maria nodded and Natasha left to go meet up with T'Challa in the main office.
"T'Challa" she greeted with a smile
T'Challa turned to face the red head and gave her a huge smile before her ran up to her embracing her in a hug.
"What are you doing here" she asked as she pulled away from the hug
"There's a dance competition happening in York Town" he replied
"Really" she asked shocked
The last time Natasha had heard from T'Challa he had quit dancing and was now a big shot divorce lawyer in L.A.
He nodded in confirmation
"I didn't know you still dance" she stated
"I don't. I thought you'd be preforming" he replied
Natasha furrowed her eyebrows "why would you think that"
T'Challa then took out his phone and showed her a post that Mason had posted about the dance comp.
'somethings never get old' it was captioned
"I still don't get it, why would you-" she started
Natasha still didn't understand why T'Challa thought she would be preforming at the comp.
"Well, because your in the photo" he stated
Natasha furrowed her eyebrows before looking at the picture again "that son of a bitch" she muttered
Meanwhile Steve had just entered the gym when a certain conversation perked his interest.
"You really think she's going to do it" Clint asked his father with furrowed eyebrows
Nick shrugged "that's what the internet's saying"
"Why wouldn't she tell us" Clint asked his father with a cocked eyebrow
"Maybe it slipped her mind" he shrugged
"Slipped who's mind" Steve asked as he walked up to the father son duo
"Natasha, apparently she's going to be competing in the next dance comp" Clint replied
"Really" Steve asked in shock
"That's what the media is saying" Nick stated
"You shouldn't believe everything you read online" Steve stated in a serious tone
Nick shrugged "enough about that, let's box"
