We join Y/n as he lays on the couch.

Y/n: I wonder what Renge doing? I should go wash my hair off. This chalk isn't going to remove itself.

Natsumi: "Y/n-chi, what's the matter?"

Komari: "You look lost."

Y/n: "This chalk mostly."

Natsumi: "I am really sorry about that. I thought Renge told you."

Komari: "You shouldn't be setting traps for sensei anyway."

Natsumi: "Do you want to take a bath now?"

Y/n: "No thanks. There's still a lot that can be done today."

Natsumi: "I wonder what Hotaru's doing?"

Komari: "Hopefully she didn't have a toothache."

Y/n: "Wanna call her?"

Natsumi: "We don't know her phone number."

Y/n: "Oh, right. Guess I'll see if Renge's got it."

Komari: "I got it. I'll go use the payphone."

Y/n: "Good luck!"

Back at Hotaru's house.

Hotaru: I wonder if Komari-senpai makes yummy treats like that as well?

She dreams about trying desserts with Komari. She's interrupted by her mother calling her name.

Momtaru: "Hotaru!"

Hotaru: "Yes?"

Momtaru: "Phone call from your friend."

Hotaru: "My friend?"

She walks downstairs confused.

Hotaru: "Who's my friend?"

She picks up the phone and answers.

Hotaru: "Hello?"

Komari(Phone): "Hello, Hotaru? It's me, Komari."

A loud bump is heard on the line.

Hotaru: "S-Sorry! It's the first time you've called me, and I was so surprised I dropped the phone. Did you need something?"

Komari: "No, it's nothing important, but Y/n-son wanted me to check in on you. I was going close to your house, so I thought I'd ask if you wanted to hang out with us."

Hotaru: "I do! I do! Yes!"

Komari: "Okay, I'll be around the phone booth near your place. I'll go tell Y/n-son that you said yes."

Hotaru: "Yes!"

Komari: "See you soon, then."

Hotaru: "Okay!"

They sit there for a few seconds.

Komari: "Oh. You can hang up first."

Hotaru: "I'm going to hang out with senpai and sempai..."

She lets out a happy squeal knowing she gets to hang out with her senior and get to know more about the other person her age.

Hotaru: "Wait?! What am I going to do?! I have to fix my hair! And I should at least wear lipstick!"

She nervously spins herself in a circle.

Hotaru: I can't wear this to a hangout! "Mom! Do you have any nice clothes?"
