A/n: Hello. Summer has started, so what better way to celebrate than some Non Non chapters?

The last day of school. The final day you're confined to a place for most of the day. For most people, they'd spend the summer with their family. Or maybe they'd go on vacation to a new place. But for those in the rural countryside, every day can feel like a summer vacation.

Renge: Before summer vacation starts, on the last day of the final semester, we eat all the watermelons we raised together. When you put salt on a watermelon, it's really sweet after the salty goes away. Y/n-son taught me that one.

Over by the river, Natsumi is spotting different animals in the river.

Natsumi: "There! It went over there!"

Renge swoops into the water and grabs something.

Y/n: "Watch your fingers."

Renge: "Crab!"

Natsumi: "You grabbed that like how a starving bear grabs fish..."

Renge puts the crab in a container with water from the same place.

Natsumi: "What are you going to do with that? Keep it?"

Renge: "Yes. I am going to call him salt."

Y/n: "Salt?"

Natsumi: "You don't have much of a gift for naming things, do you?"

Renge: "Huh?"

Komari: "You're taking forever! What are you doing?!"

She and the rest of the class walk over to them.

Komari: "We told you to bring back the watermelons we left cooling in the river."

Natsumi: "I forgot!"

Hotaru: "Why do you have watermelons at the closing ceremony?"

Sensei: "That's hard to answer... It's just a tradition that the students eat watermelons..."

Together Renge and Y/n are able to pull a watermelon out of the river.

Sensei: "Oh, a watermelon."

Renge: "It's heavy."

She tries her best to carry it with both hands.

Sensei: "Hand it here."

Renge hands sensei the watermelon.

Sensei: "It's not damaged, is it?" *She puts it up to her face* "Oh.  It's nice and cool."

Natsumi: "Then let's eat it now!"

Sensei: "I'm handing out your report cards first."

Y/n: I think I did well this semester.

From Sensei's pockets, she pulls out several report cards. She hands them off one at a time to her students.

Sensei: "Here's yours, Ren-chon."

Renge: "Oh."

She opens her report card to see it's filled with fives.

Renge: "Five!"

Hotaru: "You're amazing, Ren-chon. I didn't do well in math."

Renge: "Yay!"

Hotaru: "What about you, Y/n?"

Y/n: "Fives!" I studied a lot with Suguru last semester.

Renge: "How's yours, Nattsun?"

Natsumi: "I'm too scared to look. If my grades are bad, mom will yell at me again."

She nervously opens her report card and gasps at her find.
